Double D Christmas Stocking Challenge

I have a card for Double D's Christmas Stocking challenge!  I know, I know - none of you will believe that I haven't made a grey stocking!  Believe me I would have if I owned a stocking die!   I spent a little more time with that PTI Winter Bench set the moment I remembered the stocking stamp included!  Enough said...

I was inspired to create a 'fireplace and mantle' using a stencil like my friend, and Double D design team member, Leslie Miller!  Out came a Waffle Flower brick wall stencil, the aforementioned stocking, a shelf to use as a mantle with hooks for my stockings, the Joy from the same set, and another TH tree.  All spritzed with TH mica spray to provide a 'glow from the fire!'  Then presented to you as the scene as seen through this wonderful window from The Stamp Market.  The die cuts out the panes of the window which makes it a wonderful cover for a shaker -
I embossed it with a wide stripe and spritzed with Altenew iridescent
shimmer spray.

There's still time to hang a stocking of your own!

Thank you so very much for this honor, Double D team!

GORGEOUS Christmas scene Michele, and I'm loving the glow from the fireplace too...it really does make those of us on the outside wanting to come in and sit for a spell! Maybe the hostess would offer some hot cocoa and Christmas cookies??? Absolutely delightful window scene my friend...love it!! :0)

Have you been peeking in my window? Well, mine isn't arched and the fireplace isn't brick but my stockings are hung. Love the wonderful scene you've created, Michele.

First off, I can't believe you don't have a stocking die Michele. You have got to rectify that one my friend! lol Your card is brilliant! I love this warm and cozy scene you have created!!! The warm "light" in the background, the Christmas tree and of course the stockings hung by the fireplace, so fun, so cozy, so Christmas Eve! Love everything about this card! Hugs, Brenda

You have hooks for the stockings and JOY on the mantle... what a cozy scene! Even a tree. Can I come there for Christmas? I love how you've given the scene such a warm glow. This is the most wonderful Christmas vignette with the stockings hung with care and expectation. It's fun to think I may have inspired you some teensy bit. It's the next best thing to being there! Glad you could play with us at Double D, Michele!

Gorgeous scene card and I love the colours you've used - such a nice change from the traditional green/red Christmas combo.
