Hello, my friends! I was delighted by the happy news from a friend telling me I'd had a win over at Color Hues with my orange and brown card! I couldn't have made that card without a little corny help from another friend - thank you, Michelle!
So with joy in my heart, I sat right down to make another entry! Carol gave us the most Seasonally appropriate color scheme this time:
I gave this gorgeous Penny Black character a gold hat and scarf,
and gloves with a silvery grey coat! [which I'd totally wear!]
First, it was stamped in Copic friendly ink, of course, then I gave her a bit
of a gloomy snowy day - and added a bit of cross-hatching for interest with a grey Prismacolor pencil. I'm getting quite daring adding those little bits of script, right?
All restamped with WOW embossing ink, and heat embossed with Ranger fine detail silver, and gold embossing powder.
Okay. It was not complete without one silver, and one gold, snowflake! This may be my favorite of all the Christmas cards I've made this year! Thanks, Carol!

Stunning use of gold and silver Michele. beautiful.
I can totally understand why you'd choose this as a favorite. It's a spectacular card all the way around! I love that charming girl with her basket, and the snowflakes are the perfect embellishment. Always glad to see you in the gallery at Color Hues!
I'm calling WWCD on this one too, Michele! My goodness this is exceptionally pretty! I've never seen this image before. My favorite this year too!
Oh my gosh Michele! You are SO right!! The image is a winner all on it's own, but with all your gold and silver embossing, and the enhancing Copic colors, well this is definitely a masterpiece!! Frame worthy my friend...I love, LOVE it!! Hugs. :0)
This is wonderful, what a great image and beautifully coloured. You are very brave to add the texture to the background with a pencil too. I would be sure to mess it up if I tried that, but it has worked brilliantly for you. You can feel the chill which is lifted perfectly by your lovely shiny gold and silver elements. Congrats on your win too and on being first in the gallery with this one xx
You know, I wasn't sure about gold and silver together but the more cards with this combo I see the more it's growing on me! Your card is stunning, such a pretty image, Jo x

Congratulations, Michele! How fun! And this next entry is irresistable and charming. Love the image and how it looks in silver and gold. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity!
Michele, this card is just so sweet! Love her! and all the metallic goodness that you've included. I just had to laugh at the fact that you couldn't bear to toss those little diamond bits from the gold snowflake. I did the very same thing this week, with the very same snowflake!
Spectacular way to color the darling image for the challenge, Michele. The added details with pencil, script and snowflakes take your card to a whole other level. I see another win.
