Altenew's Alphabet Name Game!

"Shelly Shelly bo belly, banana fana fo felly, me my mo Melly - SHELLY!"

OH don't mind me, I got just a wee bit caught up in the Name Game song of my childhood!  But that is NOT what Altenew wanted to read/hear/see when they announced their Alphabet Name Game with their wonderful Altenew Educators!  Erum wants us to use the first initial of our names and find a technique that starts with that letter!

M stands for Mat - as used to bring focus to a photo or framed art piece?

Perhaps this will help:

That Altenew 3D poinsettia embossing really did deserve some
extra attention - so I created my mat with one of their Rounded Rectangle dies.  Hey, why cover it up?  I instead used their Fine Alphabet dies to create a sentiment that one can see through!

Okay. Ready. set.... GO PLAY!!!

The 'M' for matting really draws your eyes into the amazing and dimension poinsettia embossing. Great way to do the sentiment to leave the embossing as the star of the show and WOW what a stunning card Michele x.

This is so wonderful, that embossing so so clean and crisp, enhanced by the lovely frame and gorgeous pop of red. Were you tempted to colour the berries red too. I think I would have been, but I am glad you didn't xx

Your matting shows off the gorgeous 3D embossed poinsettia wonderfully, Michele! It looks like plaster wall art! The red die-cut negative strip draws your eye to the center without covering up the beautiful flowers. Amazing work!

Beautiful! Love that e/f and not covering it up but letting it shine, highlighted by the bright, see thru sentiment strip -- kudos, Michele
