A few of you know we took a little 1500 mile drive over World Cardmaking weekend! Lucky for me, I had some new Pinkfresh goodies to play with when I got home, and a few more days before this challenge ends!
Without further ado - here is my first go with PF Garden Roses layering stencils, stamps, and die set:
I started with the lightest color, and worked my way up to the darkest which gives all the gorgeous depth to the roses - Pinkfresh makes layering easy with their numbering system right on the stencils. After all the stenciling was done, I die cut them out using the dies, and then ran the 'leftover' through my die-cutting machine with that favorite SU subtle texture EF.
The sweet sentiment is also in the Garden Rose stamp set. It was cut with a die from their Basic Label Frames set. A few of their gorgeous gems, and it was done!
Okay, I'm heading over to the Pinkfresh WCMD gallery -
wish me luck, my wish-list is VERY long!

Here are the inks I used today:

Wow, this is fabulous. Love that you added texture to the negative portion after diecutting your blooms.
Lover-ly!!! Too bad we were doing somethin' else on World Cardmaking Day, huh? Maybe NEXT time!
Oh so beautiful Michele, great little sentiment too!
Your pretty orange roses remind me of my SIL, they're her favorite! Wonderful card!
Your stenciling is wonderful - beautiful flowers! And that was quite the little drive you took!
Marisela Delgado said: Like, WOW, Michele! So gorgeous. You know, I'm going to tell you what I told TaeEun. I am flat out running out of words in English to compliment you and express how gorgeous your cards are. I'm going to have to go to Spanish now. ☺☺☺ I am a major sucker for flowers. I wish I was better at coloring , but I try. This is such a beautiful card. Such a lucky person who receives it. ☺☺☺ Marisela mariandmonsterd@yahoo.com
Yay! It arrived! Beautiful layering, Michele! And the texture of the embossing gives even more elegance to your card!
What? 1500 miles?? And you still had the energy to make this beauty? I'll have whatever you're on... Have a super weekend
Just a little jaunt, eh? Wow! Glad you made it home safe and sound. :) Your card is simply beautiful. Amazing what you can do with stencils these days! Thanks for sharing this lovely card. Happy weekend to you!
Such pretty colors for the cluster of roses. Beautifully done!
Good luck!!! This is beautiful!
I don't know how many entries there are but this is definitely a winner in my book, Michele.
This turned out SO pretty Michele, and I can't wait to get my hands on this and play!! I absolutely LOVE how you used the negative piece and ran it through the Subtle ef...such a beautiful touch! Love how you can see the bit of green behind the die cut too! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
Winner, winner! Beautiful roses, and it's awesome that you used both parts of the die cut pieces, it definitely highlights the cut out roses
Best of luck, of course. But you won't need that much with this lovely entry. LOVIN" those colors and the inlay diecut look you achieve. The oval sentiment looks perfect amongst that scattering of pearls. Elegant and beautuful.
Most beautiful stenciled flowers, Michele! I have Pinkfresh stamps and dies in my NBUS basket, sigh. So lovely!
Gorgeous flowers, Michele and so perfect for Fall! Altogether a beautiful card, my friend!
So beautiful, Michele! Your cards are delightful!
This is absolutely GORGEOUS! I love the colors you chose and I love the green peeking out from under that die cut flowers. Love the sentiment on that label frame and the placement of the pearls is perfect. I must tell you that I am still cracking up about your "oh my gourd" comment. Thank you for that pearl in my day!
So beautiful!!
This is so elegant and beautiful, Michele! Wonderful stencil inking! Love you that lifted the die-cut roses a little so that the color peeks from behind the flowers. The subtle embossing and the shiny gems show off the beauty of the flowers.
