The designers at Freshly Made Sketches keep coming with more and more fun … this one from Karren for FMS402 is a great example:
I have a few birthdays to celebrate in October - and there was an old goat sitting in my snippets that has happy baaathday written all over him...
"Happy baaathday, kid... from me, and the old goat!'
This may not be 'clean' enough to be considered, but I just couldn't bear to not use the entire sheet! It's an old batik from PTI that I added a bit of black detail to in order to tie it in with the black alphas.
I'd better get him in the gallery... before he eats the entire card! Thanks for stopping by!
Lol! Love it! That paper is gorgeous and as always your lighthearted humor is infectious!
So fun, love the colors too!
Ha! Love this old goat who's a kid at heart! Fantastic inside sentiment!
You amaze me! I've been trying to wrap my head around this sketch for days. YOU nailed it! Love the pops of color and delightful focal points. Using up those snippets in such a fabulous way and tying it all together with black - perfection!
That "old" goat is the perfect embellie for this clever birthday card. His placement on your design is absolutely brilliant.
love goats ... love this card
Super sweet goat and that Batik, I can see why you wouldn't want to waste any, it's amazing!
Love the rich and colorful feel of this.
Oh he's a cutie and I love the way he's peeking out from the letters! Darling card Michele!
This is just so fun! I love that pattern in the background. Glad to see you this week at FMS!
This is adorable! Love the colors and the cute goat. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
I know a few old goats I could send this card to......lol.....adorable! Love the bright colors!
Such a fun take on Karren's sketch! I love how you played with the alphas on your sentiment and these pretty papers are fabulous, Michele! You nailed it, kiddo :)
What a cute and fantastic take on the sketch, Michele! Love the humorous inside message. The way you placed the goat (with the letter K and the circle) makes him look so darling. The added black detail makes a big difference.
