Let your creative brains go crazy with this one … I immediately saw a window to my world - it's Hummingbird time, peeps!
"mean the most … thank you!"
I was hoping to show you that my rectangle 'window' is cut from vellum … alas, I fear I've failed - but here is this gorgeous Ruby Throat up close:
I am always pleased to bring out this darling Wplus9 set - pairing it with my very new Altenew Build-a-Flower Morning Glory was so much fun! and notice I've stamped it on linen cardstock - isn't that interesting? added a tickle of Stickles? A bit of embossing on my circle die-cut adds a pretty garden where this little darling grows.
How much fun will you have with Donna's Sketch? I'm thinking the sky's the limit!

The hummingbirds are back here, such a joy to watch them! Love this week's sketch and your beautiful window! xo
Looks like a scene right out of my backyard. Classically wrought...the linen paper makes it even more elegant. And, yes, I noticed the vellum window.
This is gorgeous! What a stunning interpretation of the sketch, Jo x
Oh.so.pretty! And the touch of vellum puts it over the top!
This is so pretty!! I LOVE the flower you used and your little vellum "window." Such a stunning card design!
Wow, so gorgeous--fabulous coloring and beautiful embossing! Love the touch of vellum too!
Oh my gosh Michele, this is one GORGEOUS work of art! Your hummingbird works perfectly with the Morning Glory and I love that you chose linen for your stamping on the bloom...WOW! I also love your embossed circle...everything is layered so beautifully on this card, and I am totally inspired!, especially by your Ruby Throat!!
Gorgeous rufus hummingbird, Michele. I counted 14 total at our 2 feeders this evening. They were in an eating freeze just before dark. We Love watching our hummers and now the babies are showing up:-)
Your design is just perfect for the sketch. Love your vellum window, flower stamped on linen paper and added stickles to your birds throat. TFS your beauty. Hugs..
Beautiful! I love this!
Simply lovely, Michele ... bright and colourful in a magical kind of a way (I always think hummingbirds have a magical quality about them!) ... perfect with the soft, subtle vellum (which I see well on my screen!). Hugs, Anita :)
I can see that it's a vellum window and it looks lovely, Michele. I have so much of that linen paper and never think to use it. I'm getting it out and stamping my NBUS morning glories on it.
Just changed the hummingbird food. :) Love this, Michele. What a brilliant use of the sketch and gorgeous coloring/layering! <3
Beautiful take on the sketch, Michele! The gorgeous morning glory and lovely hummingbird! Love the subtle linen texture showing up on the flower! Hideko xx

Photography never plays fair lol. I am struggling on the road, but you can only do what you can.... Your card is so very beautiful Michele, and the bird is such a wonderful highlight!
I haven’t visited for a bit; I just got back from CA, and am catching up on my visits and comments. Love this take on the sketch.
