Here is a wonderful peek of Nancy's fun kit contents - you'll find all of the ingredients shared at the 12 Kits of Occasions blog...
You're a Good Egg!
[thanks always, Lindsey!]
Okay... ready, or not, here are my cards!
"Lucky Duck" seems like something my mom would have said... and I'm imagining my own sweet mom in her uniform - with eleven mouths to feed, she seldom left the kitchen or laundry room!
"You still bring me flowers... thank you!"
"I think we forgot your clucking birthday!"
"Sorry to say I think our eggs are long past 'fresh'-
shaken, or scrambled, is more like it these days!
Happy birthday, just the same."
[Does anyone appreciate my sick 'taste' in humor?]
"Run for your life!!! there's another birthday coming!!!"
I went in for a little edit to my card...
"Another birthday? Sing out for Glory! Glory!"
Nancy, can you tell I loved your Kit? Yes! every scrap of darling paper, embellishment, and word of it!!
Thanks, my friends, for sharing a bit of your day with me... now, off you go! My 12 Kits friends have plenty of farm fresh fun for you!
Yes! Yes! I appreciate your witty sense of humor! Your sentiments always make me laugh and your cards are always amazing. The chicken on the frying pan..... so cute!!
Fabulous cards, Michele! I adore your sense of humor and style when it comes to making cards. These are so fun. I thought the one crazy haired chicken should be dancing on that hot skillet. lol Have an awesome day!
OH how cute! I love every farm-chicken-rooster-inspired element you've got going! Someday I'll tell you about my nemesis, the rooster, on our farm. It's my siblings' most favorite story to tell about me!
Michele, I can never get enough of your talent and wit... LOVE! Each card is a gem, and each comment brought smiles. The frazzled chicken on the edge of the pan was genius. Love the way the eggs are backing away from their eventual doom. Loved the whole design of the sitting hen in front of the shaker window, and the way you arranged the buttons. A little bit country with a whole lot of classy! and the vintage kitchen lady is so cute the way you angled the cut. Just love them all! xo
One of my many favourite things about you and your card designs is how you always have the last word, and finish the insides of your cards not with a stamped sentiment but with your fabulous witty humour! As I looked at your cards it was easy--love, love, love and love. The shaker is so fun, might be CASEing that one! Wonderful collection!
Wonderful collection of cards Miss Michele...but I expected nothing less! Love your sweet barn card with that rooster peeking out of the barn, what a great thing to wake up to. Your shaker card with that adorable hen is so fun with that tray of eggs! Just love them all!
Oh how I love your spin on things! Each one of these cards is fantastic and full of ... your character! Now I have that "Rise and Shine" song stuck in my head, thank you.
LOVE.EVERY.SINGLE.CARD Michele!! Your humor just cracks me up and your cards are all absolutely FABULOUS! Yes, I can definitely tell you had fun with this kit...maybe a little too much fun? Nah, not possible!! Thanks for the laughs my friend!! :0)
Oh, I knew you would make me smile with Nancy's kit. Absolutely love your wild feathered chick scaring her chicks! And what great designs with the other chicks too. I really fell in love with that set. Your Lucky Duck design is so sweet and extra special as it reminds you of your mom. I had forgotten you came from a really large family. Thanks for the wonderful inspiration with your fun shaker card--I may need to CASE that one!
You have been a busy crafter, my friend! I'll bet your mom was one sweet lady, and I'll also bet she would have felt like the 'Lucky Duck' to have such a lovely and talented daughter like you! Every one of your cards is absolutely perfect with your awesome coloring, layering, and details...I love them all!!!
Hahaha ... beyond cute, Michele ... and so fun, all of them! I especially love that wild haired chicken with the escaping eggs ... and that pair of free range chucks meandering through their meadow! Hugs, Anita :)
I’m not surprised one bit that you used these fabulous chickens in the best ways! Love each and every card! I love the card you made that reminded you of your mother. I say lucky duck, too. :)

Yep, I'm finally here! Your inside sentiments cracked me up, you're too funny! These are so much fun. Love that the two eggs look like they're slowly sneaking away from the crazy chicken. Your polka dot sun rise has me smiling. Wasn't this a fun kit!
You used the paper flowers! Those were my trixie this month! They're perfect with that retro gal in the kitchen! My mom used to say lucky duck and Wow! I didn't know you came from such a big family! Love how you layered the borders on the one with the chickens and the pattern paper sun rising! Laughing at those little chicks still in their eggs who got away from the frying pan just in time! Great cards as always!
Wow!!!!! I love so much about each card, Michelle.... The widow box shaker above the eggs, the card with the beautiful flowers and the hen standing on the frying pan.... you are so creative!
