Because of the extraordinary size of this stamp, I was determined today to use the entire image on an A2 sized card. Here are a few of the finished projects - I'm really happy with them - front, and back sides!!
Perfectly heat embossed onto PTI linen vellum -
that perfect slip of vellum works every time!
Looks at home on this gorgeous charcoal cardstock -
sentiments front and back, too!
This time, stamped with Versafine onyx black, and splatter stamped with Dusk, Bamboo, and Olive #altenewinks
This MFT Distressed Patterns makes for a fun place to stamp my sentiments - LOve the sentiments!!!
One more: for Color Throwdown #454 - so happy to make kraft cardstock to use - it makes a perfect canvas for a bit of pretty, right?
Now, I ask you... why shouldn't the back of our cards be as pretty as the front?
Notice I used the embossing folder to add some interest to the sentiment strip, and the back of the card?
Thanks for putting up with this very photo-heavy post ... I do love to share... xx
Not photo-heavy at all! Inspiring and beautiful, Jo x
Putting up???? No way you are giving us such wonderful eye-candy. Your cards are fantastic Michele tough to pick a single favorite, so the whole post takes up a spot in the top 5.
Oh, Michele...you have completely outdone yourself with this stamp...WOW!!! I've been scrolling up and down for the last 5 minutes in awe and can't seem to decide on a fave :) Linen vellum, charcoal cardstock, white EP, and using the MFT distress patterns for your sentiment...Swoon! And, if that's not enough those tiny Nuvo dots and jazzing up the back of your cards...Pure Genius!!!
Hallmark: Eat your heart out :)
I can see why you love it sooo much (it's on my 'need' list lol.) but you have truly made this stamp set shine!!
LOVE how you are coloring this bloom with splatters! How perfect NOT to neglect the back of the card too!
Never too much beautiful inspiration! Love seeing all the creative ways to use this wonderful set. I never think of doing the back. I have been wanting to order a stamp but haven't even done that. All the extra touches are appreciated. BTW, do you buy your colored envelopes or make them?
The one with the MFT distress patterns is definitely my favorite! Great work Michelle!
Wow! Thank you so much for sharing these, Michele. It's so inspiring to see what is possible. I was especially struck by the last card you shared. The embossing on the sentiment strip under the vellum flowers is fantastic. Then you embossed the back. Thud! Great idea. Whenever you use an embossing folder I want that same folder! You use them so effectively!! Have a happy day! :) Hugs!
PS What brand/name is that embossing folder?
You do such amazing things when you just sit down and craft my friend--beautiful!
Wow this post is a feast.....enjoyed every morsel!
lovely, lovely cards!
I think this stamp set should be renamed after YOU!! These are all beautiful Michele. You and vellum...two peas in a pod!!
Extraordinarily lovely, Michele ... every little detail on every single card ... I love it when you share! Hugs, Anita :)
These are beautiful, Michele.
They really show how versatile this stamp can be.
Love the splatter coloured one - fabulous!
PS: I've added that button :-)
These are amazing. Totally fabulous.
thank you for the beautiful inspiration! Not sure if I could pick out a favorite they are all so pretty and unique!
I'm loving that you're loving that stamp, Michele, because I get to see so many lovely ways to use it. What is that splatter stamp you speak of?
