CASology Guest Designer - Week #260

I'm the lucky one who gets to play cards as a Guest Designer at CASology this week - how did that happen?  one may ask... because I built this house of paper, and turned it into a card!

This week, Melissa gave us this fun cue:

It brought me back to my beginnings as a card-maker, and a card I made long ago as my first ever guest designer spot... I'd link the post, but I didn't even have a blog then!!   Their cue word was WET! and yes, it was for CASology.  I couldn't believe it when I reached for the same stamp set for JUICY!!

These fabulous E. H. Hinged Alphas made quick work of my message!

Design defined:
Even big, graphic die cuts can be CAS if just a touch of color is added to lots of white!

You notice I said NEWS not GOSSIP!  It was a tough call =]

Thanks, Melissa, for the honor of guesting again!  and thank YOU all for the visit!

=]  Michele

Well...Olive this fun card! Those hinged alphas are just the ticket!! Great to use a bit of color on them; looks like 'olive juice,' or maybe a gin gimlet! So much interest but so perfectly CAS. Congrats on your GD role at CASology this week - well done, and well deserved! Woohooooo!! Bev

And now this 'Juicy' number is so creative and eye-catching...WOW! I love how you added just a touch of color to the alphas and your droplets really make this card pop!

ongrats on the GD Michele, fabulous card you've made. The bold ness of the olive along with the slightly colored hinge letters works together so nicely.

Olive that stamp set, Michele. Where is it from? And the drops on the letters really say juicy. You're just too clever for words.

Congratulations on guesting at CASology, Michele!
I LOVE many things about this card, but my no 1 is the design. CAS perfection with a good doze of hinged alphabets interest! Inverted triangle layout. Fun/punny sentiment. And did I say I LOVE this card! ;-) Hideko

This is fantastic! Love how you partially cut those letters, and added just a bit of color. And, leave it to you to have the best puns on the block. Thanks so much for being our Guest Designer at CASology.
