Less is More: Colour Challenge

I hope that I haven't taken this "Predominantly Black" thing too far?

Certainly not gone too far for me Michele. It's fantastic, stunning, elegant and it packs some punches in our 'black' challenge.

Oh this is gorgeous--the sentiment matches the color and mood. Love how your sentiment is embossed, and I can see some lighter layers stacked under your flowers.

"...it's not warm when she's away. Ain't no sunshine when she's gone, and she's always gone too long, any time she goes away..." I've always loved that song. So glad you've chosen it as part of your sentiment. This is a beautiful card. I so often miss my kids, and this just conveys that feeling. A really beautiful card, Michele. Not one bit 'too far' either. Just says what's in your heart. Later dudette. Bev

You've transformed 'missing feelings' into concrete form, my sweet friend, in the most stunning of ways! Not to get all English-teacher-y on you (which I am...trying to cut back *grin*), but the flowers remind me of the bitter-sweet nature of a loved one's absence, while the white conveys the hope of return. How's that for analysis? Bottom line: love, love and love your card!
