N@ Ali is fabulous at creating sketches. Here's is the loveliness we had to work with for CTS #119:
There was not one doubt in my mind what I would reach for!
See if you agree that this little die from MFT called Out on a Limb works well:
Tracey McNeely gifted me with the wonderful polka dotty patterned paper!! I cannot believe the generous heart you have, Tracey. .. thanks again.
Secondly, an apology to you all... I haven't a clue who makes that gorgeous background paper... wish it wasn't so... 'cuz I want MORE! If anyone recognizes it, please share?
The sentiment is from the Precious Remembrances Shop's Thanks stamp set. It stamps just beautifully... even that detail was perfect when embossed with detail silver from Ranger. Here's a little close-up:
Hope you grab a cuppa and browse the DT gallery ... these folks I get to play cards with? Awesome! Oh that does include YOU, too! Come on along!
A beautiful card... so soft and pretty! And, oh how I love that bg paper-a lovely shade of grey!
Such a pretty and feminine take on the sketch, Jo x
This is so pretty, Michele! Wonderful take on the sketch!
Beautiful card! I love the color combination! I had to come over and say Hi from Crimson Owl Creations! I grew up in Wisconsin and my maiden name began with an F - -an unusual Prussian name too. I spent my entire life spelling my first AND last name to everyone.
One time I left on a vacation and a co-worker agreed to schedule my presentations for me. She told me she spent a week spelling my name in the exact same way I did that she overheard me do a thousand times! I was the only "Michele" (any spelling) in the entire school through 8 years of Catholic school, and was called Michael for weeks at the start of every school year! Today, Michele is a more poplar name, and I've seen a dozen spellings! I think one L is the best!
So lovely and perfect Michele! Gorgeous grey shade and green with lovely silver embossing :) That IS gorgeous background paper...wish I knew from where!
Another gorgeous creation, Michele! I am so inspired by all these challenges and I can't play along! :( Sure hope my mojo is in the house when I do get a chance to play! :)
Gorgeous colors, Michele. So soft and serene.
Perfectly perfect take on the sketch! I was gonna grab a tree, too, but went rogue this time! Sure wish there was a "patterned paper finder" App because that's a lovely piece! Studio Calico?
All those wonderful papers, it is CAS in a really clever patterny way!
So very pretty...LOVE how everything just goes so well with each other.
Oh boy, those sweet polka dot leaves have me swooning!! This is just the best card Michele, LOVE IT!!
What a beautiful card Michele! I love that grey paper and I wish I knew who made it too, but I don't :-( But I am so loving it! I also love that tree die, and the green polka dot leaves are just so dang cute! Your sentiment is perfect as well, love it. Hugs, Brenda
Your card is absolutely PERFECT, Michele! I love it.
Love the patterned paper, Michele, and that tree is perfect.
Fabulous background paper and what could be better than polka dot leaves--just gorgeous! And what a wonderful sentiment!
Beautiful card and design Michele, you are most welcome to have more--come get!!
Oh, this is such a pretty card. Love how your background is so interesting, but it does not over power your focal point in any way. So, you like that paper from Tracey? I've got it in every color, and some of it is yours if you stop by to pick it up yourself.
Just gorgeous, love the mix of patterned papers yet it remains gloriously CAS. LOVE! x
Wow, love this. that background is just amazingly perfect.
....Happy sighs over your beautiful swirly background and polka-dot leaf trees, Michele! The bracketed sentiment: perfect accessory for the marvelous tree! Love this!
I'm late ... life's crazy! You do grey so very beautifully, Michele ... paired with any colour or any palette! This is just beautiful ... an oasis of calm ... sigh! Hugs, Anita :)
