CAS Christmas June 2021 Challenge Snowman

A really quick post, with a really fun, and quick card!

For  CAS Christmas June 2021 Challenge Snowman!

Looks like Julia and I had the same idea, wink!  But I don't mind if she doesn't!

I really love to play with this challenge to fill my Christmas stash for 2021!  This darling duo from Colorado Crafts called Snowman and Bunny,  just had to be water colored, and clear heat-embossing those lines make that process so easy for a loose bit of that!

Have a great Saturday evening!

A 5th birthday celebration with CAS Mix Up

There's a partay going on, and I'm heading over to celebrate with

that fabulous CAS Mix Up team!!

Bonnie is the Host with the Most this month - yay, Bonnie!

Here is her assignment:

Bonnie, I think I managed that wonderful print-making this time!!!

Here is where my card started... with a darling little die from SSS.  The key to my success was using the right water color card - Canson cold-pressed XL to be specific.

... a few distress inks for watery stamping ...

... and a wet stamping with just the outline portion of the sunflower!  I even used a second die cut, water-colored all the little petals, and tucked them back in!  I'm so

very happy with how it turned out!!

I know many prefer the bright white of TH, but I adore this gorgeous paper!  I've also found that MFT's Whip Cream heavyweight card stock is the perfect match!

I'd better get this card delivered to the CAS Mix Up March 2021 gallery!

Thank you to the entire team, and especially to Loll, and Bonnie who

got this whole party started 5 years ago!  Thanks, ladies!  and Happy 5th birthday!!

Let's Squash it! #5

I'm jumping in really quickly to add my little love card to

an already lovely gallery at Let's Squash It #5

I promise [even though it says love and red] that pink is allowed, too!

Ready.  set.  ice cream...

Old meets new again today... a very old Cuttlebug Cross my Heart

embossing folder and heavy vellum,  & MFT Blueprints tag builder 3,

meets new Colorado Craft Company Ice Cream Day stamps!

Have a wonderful weekend, my friends! xx

Just another Colorado Craft Company Friday FUN day!

Yes, I have been posting more than usual.  I'm on a mission, determined to have 365 cards to donate next Christmas!  So Christmas will continue for a bit, and then I'll leave you in peace for the Holidays!

I know a few of you have enjoyed my Colorado Craft Company cards ... here is a trio made with Christmas Presents and dies by Anita Jeram.  All colored with Prismacolor pencils.

I colored the second gift in his stack like a steak - do you think he will wait?

This guy is pretty protective of his family's presents... I think his bark

is bigger than his bite!

Perhaps my favorite of all ... something about that creamy natural cardstock

from MFT makes my heart go pitter-patter! - the hexagon, and Merry were found in my snippets bin!  A bit of gesso snow never hurts!

PTI Holiday Words dies, The Stamp Market Hexagon dies - embossed with a stencil?

Hope all your shopping is done, and presents wrapped ...

I don't know about you, but I could use a long Winter's nap!

See!  didn't I tell you??

Are you ready for my next Colorado Craft installment?  I can't wait to share it!

It's so hard to fit these slimline cards into a photo ... here's a triple

treat of closeups for you!

Think that steel grey isn't for Christmas?  Maybe Fa la la tickles your fancy more than HO HO HO?  you just might like this version more...

More of that gorgeous Alexandra Renke paper from a few Christmases ago - my little guys have had such a good time decorating!

Now let's go see where the inspiration for Sketch #398 comes from, shall we?  OH!  You can make more than one card this week, too!  wink, wink!  we won't be mad! lol
