Freshly Made Sketches #697

Linda is our host this week at Freshly Made Sketches #697 and I know you are going to have as much fun as I did with her wide-open sketch!

It really sets the stage for just about any characters, doesn't it?
Here's how I was inspired... one more Christmas in July card for this team couldn't hurt, right?  It has been just the thing to light a fire under me!  Or was that the heat?

This cool cocoa-drinking dude is from that Recollections 12x12 paper pad
that my cousin Tracy gifted me last year.  I fussy cut him from one of
the many tags included, and a fun paper from the collection became my
cover.  The 'overhang' and pine needles and snowy hills represent Linda's
Sketch borders.  I'm very happy with this card - and it was the first of six cards I made that day using this paper pad!

Thanks, Linda for the fun Sketch!  I'm on my way to see your card and I'm bringing all my friends with me!

This is the cutest snowman with his cup of cocoa (or is it coffee?), and you've put him in the perfect scene! Have a fun day and safe travels, my friend!

He's a cutie, but it was the pine sprigs on the top that caught my eye! Darling card, Michele!

This little cool dude is super cute with his cup of snowballs. What a great use of the sketch and of your printed papers. I scrolled back to see what I've missed and I see you've been making great use of your printed papers. Yay you!! All your cards are adorable! It's always a win when we can see a dent being made in our stacks of papers.

I'm sure Tracy is happy to know you're making good use of her supplies, Michele. The cutie snowman is right at home under the pines in a snow drift.

This is darling. I was wondering where you got that adorable snowman. You just gave me permission to dig out my pre-made xmas die cuts to create some cards. I always feel like I am cheating!!!
