Have you added spots or stripes to your florals yet?
I'm back to remind you that there is still plenty of time to make a few!
Here's how I added spots to my reminder card...

I love the large size of my Sizzix Switch machine - today it allowed me to
use TWO embossing folders at once to emboss different spots to the
negative piece left from cutting that gorgeous SSS Alstroemeria.
This time I water colored the die cut bloom before putting into the coordinating
embossing folder.

I found a lovely photo of the Summer Breeze Alstroemeria on the Burpee website as inspiration:
I had many sizes of spots or dots to choose from in my abundant
supply of embossing folders and I'll bet YOU do TOO!
So, what are you waiting for? We'd be so happy to see your spots or stripes in our gallery at The Flower Challenge!

Oh my this is a stunner for sure! Gorgeous.
Ooh, now I wish I had a bigger machine. Hmmm, I need to experiment because I'm really impressed with your impressions and how you colored your Alstroemeria! Awesome inspiration, my friend!
I love the detail of the two embossing folders! Beautiful behind the flower (whose name I'm not even going to try to type or say!)
Whoa! A SIZZIX SWITCH??! Have I been living under a rock? I've just had Cuttlebugs and Big Shots as friends. LOVE the double embossing that doesn't scrunch what you emboss first. Oh, and your alstroemeria is a stunner--those colors!!!
hahaha I went looking for my dotty 2D embossing folders not long ago... I have a feeling I must have culled them and I was certain in my brain I would never have done that, doh! LOVE your double up embossed dots, my machine does not fit this... ask me how I know lol.
Wow, wow, wow, Michele! Brilliant move to use two efs for the background and at an angle too. I think you've given me the incentive to get the larger plates for my Empress. Your watercoloring of the alstroemeria is just stunning, it looks just like the photo. What gorgeous card!
I am crushing on every perfect detail this card holds! LOVE IT!
Your bold flower is gorgeous, and you're brilliant for using TWO folders, especially at once!
I totally forgot about embossing folders for this challenge duh and I have plenty of the spoty variety. My jaw dropped when I saw this beauty from the design to the colours it really is a work of art.
On another note how do you find the noise of the switch ?

How fun that you can use two embossing folders at the same time! Your dots and spots look terrific. As does your lovely watercolored flower. Thank you so much for sharing, Michele! Have a happy creative weekend!
Wow, love your double embossed background and that you were able to do both EF at once. I will have to dig mine out also. Your Alstroemeria is beautiful in those colors.
What Stef said... What an awesome idea to use 2 EF's at once. I have a Platinum Plus and this is just a perfect idea for that. Fab way to add spots and stripes, fab coloring (shocker), and a fab card! LOVE it.
You've made that Alstromeria bloom look so incredibly real, Michele! The colors are beautiful, including the reddish stem and leaves. Love that double embossed dotty background, too!
You've brought your Alstromeria to life with your colouring Michele. It looks amazing over top of the split embossed background. xx
I love how you did your split background with the dots Michele, but your Alstroemeria is the star of the show...absolutely GORGEOUS!! Your coloring is spot on compared to the photograph you showed...beautifully done my friend!! Hugs. :0)
“Two toned” embossing! Fabulous!
So great you could do the double embossing, Michele. It gives a cleaner look than having to use an extra piece of paper. Your coloring of that Alstroemeria is spectacular!
