Color Hues #110 Pink and Plum

I'm often stumped by Color Hues - Karen I love your card which encouraged me to forget about always having to use green with flowers and just embrace your lovely Pinks and Plums!

Hope you like my plum-stemmed sunflowers!  Let me start with the closeup so you'll see those leaves are truly plum and not black!

This sunflower is from PTI and cut with MFT Pink Lemonade
C&9th's Plum and SU! Blackberry Bliss.
My dsp is from a prize from DD and check out my newest
purchase from PTI: Skinny Ric Rac!!

I've got to get this one in the mail soon - thanks for stopping by!

Thanks, Karen!

A pink and plum sunflower?! Why not! It's fresh and fun and you had the perfect patterned paper, too! That ric rac die was OOS for so long. Thanks for reminding me to look for it and use it on non Christmas cards!

Absolutely gorgeous, Michelle! Such a bold bloom in lovely soft pink and dynamic plum. You make my colors shine (as your friend, Marcia, would say!) Thanks for sharing with us at Color Hues!

Plum perfect, Michele! Love your color choices and you certainly pulled off a flower card without green stems or leaves!

Those colours really work. I love it. The flower centre die cuts almost look like crochet, such lovely texture xx

Some one should figure out how to make that hybrid happen. Fantastic sunflower and I love the ric rack like frame. Enjoy the holiday weekend.

You should pop this beauty in over at Seize the Birthday too, where our topping is Use a Frame. I absolutely adore this, Michele! The DSP could not have worked out any better and I love the plum petals. Always a pleasure seeing what you are up to. Take care and thanks for playing at Color Hues.

I think this pink and plum works beautifully for a flower! I especially love those Blackberry Bliss leaves. What a sweet card this is with the plaid and ric rac! It's all so well thought out and perfectly coordinated!

Pink and plum make for a beautiful sunflower! So unique and different. We can get so caught inside the box. It's nice to climb outside of the box once in a while. The background paper has the perfect colors for the challenge as well. Just beautiful, Michele!

A plum and pink sunflower? Absolutely brilliant and equally gorgeous, Michele! The rick rack frame looks so cute with the plaid background, kind of takes me back to 60's clothing designs? Anyway, as you always do, my friend, you killed it with your fabulous design. Thanks for playing along at CH!
