Freshly Made Sketches #674

I'm seeing lots of patterned paper being put to use around blogland - I have a darling 6x6 inch pad from Unity that was calling my name today!  This Sketch from Jen M. at Freshly Made Sketches #674 seemed like the perfect home for it...

I started with that curve but wanted to use one with a little bit more movement.  This oldie but goodie Borders #1 set from Paper Smooches seemed right.  I cut two panels of the Hello Daisy paper using one of the dies then switched them out to create two different cover panels.  clear as mud, right?  Here's a look at that:

That sweet little die set from Sizzix [663630] was a gift with purchase last year - no name but the daisies were just what I was looking for!  Remember that fun bear and penguin set I bought last year?  The die intended for light bulbs worked a charm for my flower centers.  Until this very moment, I thought surely the cardstock I chose was a match - not so much - but it does match the confetti in the base of my card front, so I went with it!  Tell me if you agree...

Concord & 9th Just Sayin' dies for my sentiment.

I'm so happy to bring my little bunny out of storage... he's much easier to control than the ones who come right up onto our porch!

Wait!  Wanna see the other one?  Okay... you know I love second helpings!

I found this sentiment in my snippets [WF Hello Friend Combo] which prompted
a few black enamel dots to bring it all home!  Do you have a favorite?

Cute pair and a cute pair of cards, Michele! Number one is my favorite... might be because of that sweet little bunny!

These are both my favorites, Michele! I love both of these papers and the daisy chains are so fresh and pretty! Love that little bunny too.

I feel like a real slacker here by not getting on the dsp bandwagon like everyone else lately, but I think I'll just leave it to the pros like you! Both cards are so simple but so striking with the curve and the daisies! I think I'm drawn to the first one more because there seems to be a little more color (the sentiment), but they are both fun, pretty, and definitely eye catching! Great job Michele!! Hugs. :0)

I am loving those papers and the way you added some extra pizzaz to that curve. The daisies are perfect and I love the black dots in the second. I love the spring feel of these as it is 17 degrees here this morning... they warm me right up!

Oh how delightful these cards are! Nope, cannot pick a favorite. They equally make me smile. I love how you added the daisies along the curve. I'm going to go have to take a looksee in my stash for some posies like these. Thank you for sharing!

Both cards are so pretty with those white blooms. Glad you were able to get two cards from the one die cut.

I do believe there is nothing more cheerful on a card than daisies! I love your cards so much, Michele! The cardstock color coordinates beautifully. Love the curve and the simplicity of the paper patterns so that they are much easier to use than large bold prints. The flowers along the curve look so cute!

I do love daisy type flowers and these bright white ones are so pretty. The first one is my favourite, not sure why, but I think the daisy paper works better on the left xx
