I received a few new goodies from Doodlebugs today - since my Friday post was pre-scheduled, I decided I just couldn't wait to share!
Color Hues #40 to the rescue - they never turn down second helpings!
A little foiling with Pinkfresh Songbirds on Branches, followed by stencil-coloring using the coordinating stencils... [in blue and tan of course =] After stenciling,
I cut it with Wplus9's postage die set and mounted it on my card base. I sure wish I could describe the foil - it's from an un-named variety pack and reminds me of mercury glass!
A sweet little hello from The Stamp Market's Sardine Greetings,
and my card is done!
Thanks for stopping in - I'd sure love it if Blogger would send all those sweet comments left here right to my email inbox. But, if you leave a little kindness here, you can be sure I'll do my best to deliver some right back to you - thanks tons!
Thank you, Color Hues!
Your second helpings card is as gorgeous as the first, Michele! Another dazzling work-of-art. Love this!
Oh Michele, I am picking myself up off the floor from all of this gorgeousness. It's too much to bear. And how wonderfully these colors work. You have become a foiling master. Told ya so.
Really beautiful, Michele. xxx
Golly, this is so pretty, Michele. Love the color combination and the images. I'm always impressed by your attention to detail to add interest to your cards. The edge of the focal piece is terrific. Thanks so much for sharing! Hope you actually get to see my comment. Sorry that Blogger makes things difficult when they don't need to be. Have a happy weekend.
Gorgeous! And there's BLUE....and such pretty shades of it, too! ♥
Absolutely gorgeous! This is tops the list of favorites I've seen using this foiling plate! Thanks for joining us at Color Hues!
My old eyes can't make out the foiling, but I bet in real life it's absolutely GORGEOUS...just like the rest of the card!! It looks perfect in the blue and tan colors Michele, and I think the color blue is starting to grow a bit on both of us lately, hasn't it?!! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
The blue and tan are fabulous together! Looks like those two birds are having a lovely chat!
This must have been what you were working on when we were chatting, Michele. I wish that foiling showed up better on screen. That was a great plate to use for the color challenge.
This is lovely!! You chose wonderful hues of the colors. I actually have some mercury glass!
...and another beautiful entry Michele. This is such a pretty pretty card. Thank you so much for sharing with us at the Color Hues!
Simple yet elegant, beautiful in blues, I love this Michele! What a lovely image and with the glimmer I'm gobsmacked. Funny how I always want to buy what I see you use, lol!
How amazing is this? I love it, keep on buying those new goodies if you can produce cards like this one. Bet it is even better in real life with the shiny foil. Thanks for the inspiration xx
Now that's one pretty card Michele with a fabulous image and the colours are wonderful x.
What a lovely card Michele. This shows when done right two main colors are all you need.
WWCD!! And just look at you embracing blue once again! This might just be a new favorite, it's beautiful!
I've looked at this beautiful stamp so many times. Got a thing for birds and all things of nature. Beautiful the way you colored it through a stencil. Love the colors, too. You're not getting comments in your email? Some have said just the opposite -- they get comments in the email but they don't show up on the blog. Weird.
WOW! Another gorgeous card, Michele! This one is definitely a show-stopper and up there on my long list of favs of yours! And the gals and I at CH will never turn down second or third helpings of your work! Thanks for playing again!
Ooh this is so very beautiful Michele! These colours together are making me so very happy and blended too.... mmmm lovely! I've been missing your posts for some reason my feed hasn't been sending them to me so I just had to stop over and see if I had missed anything. I was wondering if you were away. Grrrr I will have to have a stern word with my blog feeder!! Ps it's been so nice to see what you have been making, you are always such an inspiration my friend x

Another beautiful card... nailed it... once again! :D
Congratulations on being chosen as Runner-Up, Michele! Love the soft coloring of the images using stencils! The shine of the foiling must be prettier in real life. It adds elegance to the card.
Love, love these colors together. The birds are so cute the way they are looking at each other.
