Second Helpings - Color Hues #40

I received a few new goodies from Doodlebugs today - since my Friday post was pre-scheduled, I decided I just couldn't wait to share!

Color Hues #40 to the rescue - they never turn down second helpings!

A little foiling with Pinkfresh Songbirds on Branches, followed by stencil-coloring using the coordinating stencils... [in blue and tan of course =] After stenciling,
I cut it with Wplus9's postage die set and mounted it on my card base.  I sure wish I could describe the foil - it's from an un-named variety pack and reminds me of mercury glass!

A sweet little hello from The Stamp Market's Sardine Greetings,
and my card is done!

Thanks for stopping in - I'd sure love it if Blogger would send all those sweet comments left here right to my email inbox.  But, if you leave a little kindness here, you can be sure I'll do my best to deliver some right back to you - thanks tons!

=] Michele

Thank you, Color Hues!

Golly, this is so pretty, Michele. Love the color combination and the images. I'm always impressed by your attention to detail to add interest to your cards. The edge of the focal piece is terrific. Thanks so much for sharing! Hope you actually get to see my comment. Sorry that Blogger makes things difficult when they don't need to be. Have a happy weekend.

My old eyes can't make out the foiling, but I bet in real life it's absolutely GORGEOUS...just like the rest of the card!! It looks perfect in the blue and tan colors Michele, and I think the color blue is starting to grow a bit on both of us lately, hasn't it?!! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)

This must have been what you were working on when we were chatting, Michele. I wish that foiling showed up better on screen. That was a great plate to use for the color challenge.

I've looked at this beautiful stamp so many times. Got a thing for birds and all things of nature. Beautiful the way you colored it through a stencil. Love the colors, too. You're not getting comments in your email? Some have said just the opposite -- they get comments in the email but they don't show up on the blog. Weird.

Congratulations on being chosen as Runner-Up, Michele! Love the soft coloring of the images using stencils! The shine of the foiling must be prettier in real life. It adds elegance to the card.
