Dive into A Colorful Life!

Hello again!  Are you ready for my next dive into the ocean of stencils from A Colorful Life Designs?  Did you see what I did there?

ACLD's School of Fish 3x6" stencil jumped right into my boat cart!

Here's my first play - with a quartet of Catherine Pooler inks... and a bit of debossing for some ocean current ...

I'm very sad to say I didn't write down the colors - but please see these
inked up with the colors you love most - fish of any color of the rainbow
can be found under the sea!  This old cover plate isn't available any longer - but
if I told you it was wood-grain, you might have just the thing in your own stash.
My wonderful die-cut sentiment is from Waffle Flower - called Sentiment Additions combo.

Let's dive in to my next card...

Sentiment from PTI - Ways to Say with Sympathy c. 2017

This beauty was once again the result of rescuing that leftover ink on my stencil[s]... isn't that water-y-broken-china-ink gorgeous??  I'm giving you a little teaser here for the next time... those ocean waves?  More A Colorful Life Designs soon...

Oh wow, love the softer, muted colors, Michele and how you used the cover plate to fill the slim line card. Very clever and very soothing card. Fabulous second card, too. Thank you for sharing your wonderful and creative ideas!

Lots of fishy delight here, great use of the woodgrain background and clever way to make it fit the slimline size xx

Dare I say, you achieved these cards swimmingly. Both have so much movement plus adding the debossed current and using your leftover ink for color on the second card was a brilliant idea.

These make me feel like I've been in a glass bottom boat and seen the fish swimming below! So serene!

Hey there... I may not have been leaving comments but I have been stopping by to see all your amazing cards. Who knew fish could look so good, that first card ... WOW! I'm struggling to type and hence the lack of comments but finding a way using just one hand. Hope you had a lovely Easter ... have a beautiful day

Oh wow--these are fabulous, Michele! Love the design & "waves" on your first card, but the left over ink on the stencil for the 2nd card has my heart!

Wow, both of these cards are gorgeous Michele! I don't think I could take these fish and make them look gorgeous as you have. No big surprise there! lol Love the colors on both, the cover plate on the first one reminds me of the patterns on a sea radar, scoping out the fish. Very cool looking and not looking like wood at all. The left over color on the second card is just beautiful and tropic looking! Only you Michele, could make fish look so gorgeous. Hugs, Brenda

Woodgrain debossing for ocean current? You ARE ingenious, Michele! Nobody else would think of that. Love both cards. The colors and the fish images are very soothing and peaceful.

Someone is anxious for fishing season and a peaceful day on the boat! These are beautiful - which is a lot from someone who would never touch a fish!
