It's not often I jump right in to play at challenges these days, but this one at Fusion today immediately gave me all the feels today!
You might know I couldn't resist those butterflies, right? Here are the inks I've used today, along with a 'banner' made from a dome die from Waffle Flower! I couldn't bear to clip a bit of that knitted embossing for a fish tail - sorry!
My friend Marcia allowed me to borrow her Pinkfresh Jumbo Butterflies home with me for a bit - thanks, sweet friend! this sentiment is from Altenew's Paint-a-Flower Tulips set! and my embossing folder is a Richard Garay that normally is used in the Winter - the string art in the Fusion photo brought it out of hybernation!
All I did was swipe the inks across the raised bits!
Just three little PF gems, and it was a done deal!
Hope you've had a great week! I'll see you again tomorrow!
p.s THANK YOU, FUSION!!
The dome die looks fabulous, adds great texture and WOW to that beautiful butterfly. Stunning card Michele. Nope.....knew you couldn't resist joining in the challenge with those beautiful butterflies Michele x. Pretty font on the sentiment too x.
Look at you jumping on that blue, Michele! What beautiful inking on this butterfly and the embossed piece! A beautiful card, my friend!
You may have outdone yourself this time, my friend. These colors are delicious....and the knit background makes for a fabulous banner. But that BUTTERFLY...oh my goodness!
You not only jumped right in, you jumped in the deep end with both feet! I spy the fishtail in those bottom butterfly wings. WOWEE this is a beauty, my friend!
What a beautiful combination of colours for you glorious butterfly! I do Love it Michele..... as well as that sweet background!
Oh wow, Michele! This is fantastic. I adore every single detail and can absolutely see why you jumped right on into the challenge. Gorgeous colors and the way you used the embossing folder is fabulous. Every detail is well thought out and executed. Wonderful work. Happy weekend! Hope it's a lovely weather one for you!
WOW!!! What a BEAUTIFUL card Michele!! You know I love the butterfly and the colors, but what you did with the ef...FABULOUS!! Totally get why you didn't want to cut any of it off!! CAS and yet FULL of texture and design on this whole card, and it's just absolutely lovely...LOVE it!! Hugs. :0)
There is nothing about this that I don't LOVE! So pretty and fresh.
Even with the same colors on the embossed background, that gorgeous butterfly takes center stage, Michele. So beautiful!!
Fantastic, I love that embossing, it looks fabulous behind the amazing butterfly xx
Fabulous! Such a great landing spot for your beautiful flutter.
Good to have galpals like Marcia who are so generous. What an amazingly, beautiful card. Love, love, love the butterfly, of course, but nuts about how you used the arched background. Clever & effective.
This is BREATHTAKING!! I love how you used that embossing folder and the butterfly is GORGEOUS!! STUNNING design!!
I am in awe of this one - wowza - just gorgeous! And this could be my favorite sentence ever - All I did was swipe the inks across the raised bits!...oh my friend you make it sound so simple!
Perfection! The meld of these two elements, along with the font of your sediment ... just wow, M! Your eye for design is amazing! Hugs, D
Beautiful take on the card inspiration! Great job!
Ohhh, those colors! You brought all the challenge elements together beautifully, Michele!
Such amazing soft colors on your beautiful butterfly! LOVE it on that background!
Oh I love the color palette of your card, Michele! The knitted embossed backdrop is as beautiful and interesting as your butterfly. The thin sentiment in the open white space looks lovely in contrast to the elements on the left side. Wonderful take on the challenge!
Amazing, beautiful and oh so you! Really gorgeous, Michele
Oh so pretty. Love the big butterfly and the trail of gems.
I knew you would use a butterfly or butterflies! lol I love the embossing folder and the way you used it, it doesn't look wintery at all. It gives wonderful texture though! But it is that butterfly and the way you have colored it...it is stunning! I also love your color combo like in the inspiration photo! Hugs, Brenda
This is absolutely stunning Michele - bravo! The butterfly stands out beautifully against the embossing, even though they are in the same colours. Love it!
Omg Michele, this is fabulous! I love it, the butterfly is just amazing! Thanks for joining us at The Fusion Card Challenge. Claire DT
