How did I come to the near end of the month without playing along
I've remedied that today! Hope they like it - I couldn't resist these gorgeous
colors when all I can see around me is the glare of white snow!
Our hostess, Reiko, shared this wonderful photo she took as our inspiration. I thought of the wonderful Altenew Sunflower Daisies right away...
A sweet birthday sentiment from Fresh Freesia - one of my oldest ,
most often used Altenew sets!
I love the font - this time I stamped it in Moss ink instead of my usual black.
One of the small branches of leaves was stamped randomly on my
panel, then I embossed it using Altenew's Geo Steps.
Here are the inks used today...
Off I go to get this into their gallery before it's too late!
Thanks for stopping by!
Absolutely gorgeous! I need to check this set out, I love those flowers! WWCD!
This lovely card has a wonderfully vintage feel. It's elegant and cheerful. I like the sentiment in the green, too. You are so good at cardmaking, my friend. :)
Such bright and beautiful colors Michele, and they look so beautiful on those flowers!! And I am absolutely loving your embossed background too...so much so that I just went to Altenew's site and ordered that folder (and maybe a couple other ones)! Lovely, lovely card my friend and definitely a great way to chase away the Winter blues!! Hugs. :0)
This is bright and beautiful, Michele! Love the soft gray and white and texture of the background that contrast perfectly with the flowers! Awesome card, my friend!
Beautiful interest and dimension from the striking embossing folder and a happy and a sunshine of a card Michele x. Great take on the inspiration photo x.
WOW! These blooms are so vibrant and beautiful...your coloring is amazing. Plus the addition of the geo embossing makes those flowers pop right off the card.
Oh I am so loving this beauty!
This colourful design is a delight to my eyes so early in the morning. You will truly make me go to work with a smile on my face now! Hope you day was a smile'y one!
You've captured the essence of that photograph perfectly! Such a pretty bouquet!
Michele., this card brightened my heart, and so will a card receiver's! I love that you stamped the sentiment in Moss ink for this card, tying the sentiment to the leaves. The Geo Steps dry embossing in the background looks like a lattice fence and it gives the flowers liveliness. Love this card!
What a nice bit of cheerfulness on this last day of January. I love that you stamped a leaf spray on the panel too, it gives more interest and depth. great card xx
Every month I say I'm going to enter this challenge and I never go. Your entry is fabulous, Michele. Those daisies look just like the photo and I love the dimension the embossing folder gave the card.
Beautiful card Michele, you used the inspiration perfectly!
Oh my Michele, this is a gorgeous card! Looks almost exactly like the inspiration photo! The layers, the embossing, the flowers, the colors...wow, wow, wow! I do love a black sentiment, but I am loving it in this moss green too, especially on this card. Love that font as well. Gorgeous card my friend, once again you knocked a challenge out the park! Hugs, Brenda
This is so gorgeous, Michele. I so love the colors, and the flowers are so beautiful. Love your arrangement, and oh that EF!!!! I missed that one, but I just love the dimension it gives. Freesia is my favorite flower and it is the first Altenew set I bought. I do LOVE the font on that sentiment. Another fabulous creation by YOU.
Your card is better than the picture! Fabulous floral arrangement with delightful colors!
Wow! Stunning, Michele!
The embossing folder adds so much interest and graphic contrast to the softness of those gorgeous flowers. Such a fabulous card!
