It couldn't be a more perfect time of year to pull out these colors for Color Hues!
Here is what our neck of the woods looks like at sunset this week:
No. this is not our home - sadly we don't have these gorgeous trees in our yard -
or I'd be out raking up, and jumping in!
My play date with Kristie was the perfect time to stamp a plethora of these Taylored Expressions' leafy backgrounds - must have been kismet that I'd choose hues of brown and orange Oxide inks for this one... and serendipitous that I had this cute bunch of corn from my friend Two Ls to add to it!
Waffle Flower Crafts' Domed dies, and PinkFresh Studio's Braided Tags
play so beautifully together. that deep brown wood grain paper is from Altenew.
I must thank Karen from the CH team for reminding me of this little bundle of love I brought back from our visit to New York a few years ago! OH you have to go see Karen's card - all the designers at CH really knocked it out of the park! Don't they always?
Thank you, Sheri!
Michele, your sense of design is fabulous and makes for fabulous cards. This one being no exception. Love the bundle of corn against the leaves.
So beautiful Michele, perfectly Autumn!
Those dies play extremely well together--as always, your design knocks it out of the park! It's a gorgeous autumn card. Thanks for joining us at Color Hues!
Oozing with heaps of autumn prettiness, Michele!
As a former NE Cornhusker I applaud your wisdom in adding the corn to this fabulous card!
Be still my heart! This is Autumnal perfection. I LOVE it so very much. Now I need the corn...
Gorgeous view and beautiful homage to that view. Seeing your cards always brings me joy and I thank you for that, Michele. :)
Oh what a blessing to look out the window on those gorgeous colors, Michele! What a wonderful leafy background on your card and the corn mimics the colors from your window! Love that shaped die!
I love EVERYTHING about this card..the Indian corn, the colors, the dies, the background, love it ALL! And what gorgeous trees! We have some color starting but my woods is mostly just green and brown. :(
The corn fits perfectly on the 'holey' leaf panel, Michele. This is such a wonderful card.
Fabulous design and wonderful die cuts on your striking card Michele. What a beautiful 'sunset' photo in your neck of the woods Michele....Enjoy x.
Orange & Brown are a difficult combo for me but not for you. This card strikes all the Fall notes beautifully. Awesome use of both the corn stamps and those dies.
