Our weather is still feeling quite Summer-like but I sure do love all the end-of-summer colors, and vibe of our Inspired By #187 hello fall photo this week!
It was the perfect time to use my gourd - pardon my pun - from Pigment Craft Co. again! Also, a lovely gift from a darling friend from Connecticut sure did come in handy for my Gingko leaves... here's a peek of the inking I did on those gourds, using Citrine ink from The Stamp Market, and a few greens, and blue-greens from Catherine Pooler.
An old favorite die from Altenew came in handy for the frame, cut from a
discontinued MFT card stock.
The wood grain paper has been distressed just a tiny bit in order to
play nicely with the colors on my leaves.
Remember we have a Christmas version this week, too - and I mean it is GORGEOUS!! Have a look-see HERE! While you're there, say hello to all the beauty of Fall from my teammates!

I love this Fall collage all framed up with the distressed paneling in the background! Super inspiration from that photo, my friend!
The extra distressed paper sure does play nicely with the colours of the leaves. The framing draws your eyes right into the contemporary gingko leaves and never heard of gourds....but they do look fabulous x. Wonderful inspiration from the photo Michele x.
This is amazing!! I LOVE that gourd (I am not buying it, I am not buying it-maybe if I say it enough I won't!!) and your "Wood" background rocks. This is beautiful!!
Once again, nailed it. You're a master at working with these muted tones. I'm always bowled over by how you put them together to make one cohesive and stunning creation.
You have an artist's eye, Michele! How I love this!
This is yummy and fresh! Love the background panel, it really makes your leaves stand out! Great colors too!

Wow the colors you used are fabulous! And oh that background panel….perfect! No such thing as fading into the background on your cards…..each layer shines on its own!

Beautiful combo of greens on this card, Michele! I love how you framed your focal point and the woodgrain background is just perfect! Awesome card!!! xx
Wonderful take on the IB photo, as always, Michele! The color palette is mature but the fun fall collage doesn't make the card look somber. The little bit of distressing on the wood grain paper is a really nice touch!
Hideko xx
