Inspired By #170 - Wrap Me Up in Spring!

Hello friends!  Raise your hand if you would love to receive one of these bouquets!!  I got so 'wrapped up' in these beautiful Springtime bouquets, way too much time was spent trying to recreate them, rather than being inspired by them!   I quit, and took a totally different route.

  • White
  • twine instead of brown paper
  • a few sprigs of tiny flowers
  • a bit of bling
  • who needs roses anyway?

It is SO hard to get a close up of these slimline cards!

I won a little prize from Altenew recently - this gorgeous Floral Lace Die is what I chose - isn't it lovely?  Let me tell you it is BIG - I cut it in two to wrap my bouquet today!  yeah, in two!  The blooms are from Altenew's Focus on You.  Another tiny tag - don't ask.  still not available. with a little love note, compliments of a darling little Uniko set I received on my birthday last year. [more on that soon!]  You will no doubt recognize the subtle texture from Stampin' Up by now!

Okay, I'm passing the baton to you - how will you be inspired by our IB#170 Spring bouquets?  Why don't we check out my teammates' cards?  You're bound to get tons of inspiration over at the IB Blog!

How you do this magical thing with dies and stamps is beyond me. This one looks like it burst out of your brain fully made. Simply gorgeous...reminds me of lacy, crocheted doiles with wild flowers wrapped in them. Love that you went with what inspired you. You're right, though, slimlines are a pain in the patoot to photograph. However, I think you did great.

Lucky you to win that amazing die, it looks absolutely fabulous cut is white and mounted on that lovely textured base with the little flowers giving extra colour, detail and interest. The gems are a perfect finishing touch too. Those little posies are just delightful, but I am glad you changed tack xx

Ok. This is KILLER gorgeous... and you have already made me buy that lace die, and now I need the flowers. This is one of my favorite of your creations ever. I love the elegance and the twine adds a little rustic to the mix. Truly beautiful.

This is SO beautiful! That lace is gorgeous! You're hitting all of my faves this week...cards with yellow, and cards with special touches that make it look like it was made from fabric, swooon.
