I'm coming in quite late in the game ... and really not sure if my card will qualify! But, I did have fun recently with a new die for the 2020 Season, and promised to share my creations using my Altenew Poinsettia die and patterned paper. Maybe it was a die you purchased this year, as well? It seems to be 'out of stock' everywhere I shop!
CAS Christmas November 2020 is asking for Non-traditional Colours ... I can't imagine my Poinsettia being more non-traditional! See if you agree...
In real life this piece of Altenew paper from their Sweet Moments paper pack features shades of grey-green, and navy... makes me happy, I'll tell ya.
The Flower Challenge #50 is asking for florals with a sentiment - I think this one works for that one!
Same Sweet Moments paper collection this one in red, with grey and navy!
You never fail to gob-smack me with your creativity and both these cards are dead certain to be winners. You've managed to take those patterned papers and make magic with them. The cards are stunning.
Beautifully done cards with that gorgeous poinsettia, Michele. Happy Thanksgiving.
these are both gorgeous Michele. What's not to love? The way you have left the white space in the window on the first card beautifully balances the patterned area and in your second card it is vice versa - very clever. By the way, today I have finished my sewing project, hooray! xx
These are both fabulous cards. I love the non-traditional colors in the first.
Stunning cards both of them Michele! The grey one is so eye catching but esp. loving the happy red polka dotted one, such a fun card, I love it! Thanks for sharing with us over at 'The Flower Challenge' ;) Viv DT xx
These are both so very wonderful Michele, I am really really loving this die in your hands!
WHOA!! You've knocked these out of the park Michele!! You know the red polka dot one has me swooning, right? This die set arrived in my mailbox today. Can't wait to play after seeing this stellar inspiration!!
WOW...I love, LOVE them both Michele!! The 1st one definitely screams YOU and the 2nd one is still you too but just a few shades brighter! Gosh I love that die and it's no wonder no one can find it in stock anywhere...if we ever get out of this quarantine that is one I definitely want to play with when we get together, so add it to the pile!! Lovely, lovely cards my friend!! Hugs. :0)
That poinsettia die looks like a fun one to play with. Both cards are beautiful the non traditional black and white is a stunner. Thanks for joining us at CAS Christmas.
You’ve used that poinsettia die beautifully, creating two different looks. It looks elegant and classy in white. Thank you for joining us at CAS Christmas.
Striking non traditional colours and design on your first amazing card x....love the tones of grey with the hint of navy x. The vibrancy of the second is eye catching and what a fabulous use of those wonderful papers x. Those poinsettia die flowers are beautiful Michele x.
I'm in love with those papers and with your cards...
Love this gray green, Michele! A perfect match for the decorative paper and I love how the black pops! Your polka dots are AMAZING! The red, black & white is so classy!
Now I need a poinsettia die, dangit. LOL! Gorgeous.
Oh my goodness! STUNNING! I love the non traditonal colors. You are brilliant. Thanks for sharing.
You've polished your die-cutting queen crown for these, Michele. So beautiful in patterned paper with more pattern behind. Now the question is "How do you mail them?"
Stunningly gorgeous! You're right, that die is a gorgeous one but the paper makes both of these stunning
Well, I'm in love. I ordered the set before seeing these cards and now am so glad that I did. I already tried stamping another HA poinsettia on pattern paper. You are a grand enabler.
Beautiful cards! But oh that first one is extra smart and stylish!
I love both of these cards but I think the red one is speaking to me saying, "I know you really really love polka dots so choose me!" : ) Love this Altenew die cut and once again - you have prompted me to add to my wish list! : ) Take care and have a very Happy Thanksgiving!
Love - Red : )
Having fun is most important, Michele! Amazing use of pattern paper, beautiful texture, and wonderful dimension! I LOVE the combination of the gray green and the navy! The second one is lovely, bright and festive!
