Before I even post my card, I'd bet you know exactly which set I'll use for today's Inspired By #112 prompt … go ahead and tell me if you're right!
MFT's Let's Stick Together has done it again! Their little pots were cut from a really old Kaisercraft paper using the coordinating dies. I picked up the MFT Mistletoe Cover Up die after Christmas... today I thought it made the perfect cacti-shaped shadows, with a bit of Shaded Lilac DOX on vellum.
Copics used:
No matter which cacti you use, we can't wait to see them 'stuck' in our gallery at IB#112!

Cute! Who could resist a sombrero-wearing cactus?! Love the vellum background too!
For a bunch of prickly guys they look mighty happy! And awfully cute! The vellum background is perfect!
Those little cacti are so super cute! I especially love the one with a mustache---HA!---adorable!!
Oh what a fun card, Michele! I love everything about it!
So adorable and so fun! Love these guys and the fun sentiments that go with them. Great idea to use that Mistletoe cover die as your background. It's just perfect with the cacti! Great way to stretch your dies! xx
That MFT set has been getting serious love. Keep em coming. So fun.
This MFT set was made for this challenge...all those little patterns on the cacti pots are perfect. Think my favorite, though, is how you shaded the vellum...genius.
Oh yes, I knew you were going to use this really fun stamp set :) And I LOVE that you paired it with this cover die...WOW!
The cover up die looks great in the background and just goes to show you don't have to use it just for Christmas. Fun card and I so love those Cacti x.
This is such a cute stamp set and so glad I stamped a bunch to play with yesterday! Your card is ADORABLE and I love the matching sentiment too! :0)
The prickly guy in the sombrero just makes me smile! Heck, they all do, this is adorable!
Only you could see beyond the design of that mistletoe cover up--what a great backdrop for those cacti!
Arriba, Arriba, Andale, Andale!
I never tire of seeing these cute cacti... Love the BG piece and the DP, the colour choices are wonderful and the whole card is totally adorable!
So FUN!
Cute card! And I never ever thought I'd say that about a card with cacti on it. Great job!
My favorite is the Frito Bandito looking guy. Awesome!
Love that cover die cut in the background and those fun cacti with the perfect sentiment!
But of course you would use this image for your card! It is a perfect match!
Such a wonderful background you gave to these prickly characters, Michele!
This is so adorable. I love the bandito with the mustache most of all. Ole! And I love that bit of purple inking on that wonderful die cut in the background. Great touch!
I love all of your cards using this stamp set, Michele! This one is again so adorable! The little pattern paper pots and the shape-matching mistletoe die-cut background add so much interest to the card. Coloring the vellum is a great idea too.
Hideko xx
Sweet and to the point! These little guys have been stuck on my mind - love the whimsical pots and pretty shaded background
Oh Michele, this is just adorable! Those beautifully coloured little cacti are just so cute and fun in their trendy pots! Hugs, Anita :)
I was totally inspired by Laurel's challenge photo this week - I went punny as opposed to cute,, but your sombrero wearing cacti have made me chuckle today Michelle! Love the vellum diecut piece behind too for a little background detail. Who would have thought cacti could be so sweet?!
