I've given Jackie's sweet Sketch #7 for a spin … and I know there's a little guy out there who won't mind one bit - or should that be bite?!
My ocean was created from an emboss-resist piece
of Bristol paper, and a few inks. I snipped a few
'waves' for the little strips in the Sketch, and gave
the big toothy guy a Copic coloring... thankfully those little gold fish got away!
There's only one person out there in blogland who will truly appreciate this card made for her grandson - but I hope it inspires you ALL to play along with CTS359!!
AveryElle Sea-prise! [thanks again Cat!]
EBE Inner Mermaid - for that perfect sentiment, and gold fish.
MFT Whimsical Wave background stamp
so CUTE!!!! Love how fun this is!
WOW! JAWS!...don't go near the water! Brilliant move to turn the design upside down. Love the tiny fish behind the shark...think they're called remoras...or maybe thats for whales.
Absolutely fin-tastic and those waves? So jawsome!!
Whoa! This guy is scary, Michele! I'm glad those goldfish are out of his range of vision and teeth! One little boy is going to LOVE this!
I love how you used this sketch and made it your own! And your own is fantastic!!!
ME!!!!!!! This is soooooo awesome Michele!!! And how do I NOT have this stamp set?????? Meemaw is going to have to do a bit more retail therapy. ha!
Thanks so much for making me smile.
Well, if it's going to someone's grandson, I"ll call him baby shark!! But before that I'll call him ca-ute!!
This is so super cute and fun....sure made me smile!
Now if the shark in jaws was as happy as this guy I wouldn’t have had to close my eyes so much! Adorable card!
I'd say your card is fin-tastic too, Michele.
Hahaha ... so fun, Michele ... cool shark, great waves and just the perfect little shoal of fish! Brilliant take on the sketch! Hugs, Anita :)
Oh I just LVE this. And how brilliant of you to snip the waves for the strips... Love the fish on the left - fantastic card, as always.
You clever girl you Michele! I love your take on this sketch, it is so clever and executed perfectly. Those waves are amazing, Your shark, well...his toothy smile makes me a little leary, crown or no crown. lol I think he needs to go to the dentist as well. Love your little school of gold fish on the side line. Perfect take on the sketch! Hugs, Brenda
Fun! I'm sure the boy will love it, and so cute that you split apart a couple of the waves and slid him in between a couple too!
Terrific!! Love the way you have designed this and yet still kept in with the sketch.. What a fun card!
Love this! Such terrific and vibrant colors and such a clever little scene. Wow! Thanks for sharing, Michele!
Hes adorable and I am so glad to see you put him to such good use.
Love how you made the cute shark jumping out of the wave, Michele! Adding the fussy-cut waves to the background gives the ocean open space, and I love it design-wise!
We can ALWAYS count on you for a fun take on the sketch and you have not disappointed, Michele! Beautiful shades of blue on the waves and fabulous coloring on the shark! I love how the little fish are placed, too...LOVE this card so much!!!
Michelle this card is fabulous! So much detail for a CAS card. I love the bright primary colours and wave and fish detail, and as for Jaws - who knew a shark could be so cute?! I just love this card!!
hahaha this is such a fun design who would have thought this could happen from that sketch, only you!!
