The Library Challenge #36 the Rainbow

An Unrushed Walk Through A Very Different Time - The Rainbow by D.H. Lawrence | Byte The Book

I downloaded this book onto my Kindle, read three pages, and that was it!!!  lol  but I sure do love the title, and cover... turns out I had almost everything I needed for my Library Challenge #36 card close at hand in my snippets bin!

Some of you may remember the card using the die cuts - these were some of those 'can't throw them away' remnants!

A Rainbow of a different design, for sure... but I'm okay with that!

=]  Michele

Supplies:
Pinkfresh Dainty Blossoms dies
EBE Pure Magic for sentiment

Clever way to use these reverse die cuts....I usually toss mine away! And after reading a review of the book....well, the cover is intriguing, I'll just say that!

Yeah- DH is not everyone's cup of tea. I couldn't read "The Rainbow" either. Another clever interpretation of the challenge Michele! I have a stash of snippets too. Need to go through them.

I'm so glad you didn't pitch these remnants, Michele...they're perfect for your card! Such a happy take on the inspiration photo!

Now, I would love to know why you only read 3 pages of this book...I'm sure it's an interesting explanation :)

I am loving your rainbow of a different design Michele! What a great way to use up the negative cutouts. I also love the cute sentiment. Was the book boring that you never finished it? lol Hugs, Brenda

Happy 4th! The fireworks just started here in LA. (I'm sure they're over by now in your area.)

You're so organized you plan ahead and cut your dies in the center of the paper so you can use the remnants, Michele. I used remnants to make more remnants. lol They did go together beautifully and also with the sentiment.
