CAS[E] this Sketch #319

I know Chrissy has a wonderful card for her Sketch #319 inspiration …

I had a jaw-some new-to-me set to play with - thanks to a very sweet friend of mine!  I couldn't wait to take a bite out of it!

Here's the fun I had with the inside sentiment:

That Memory Box Oceana Border hasn't seen the light of day in far too long - isn't it the cutest?

A simple bit of ink-smooshing prepped my new friend's ocean using Distress Broken China, and Peacock Feathers.  A drop of Nuvo Clear Glaze brings out his eyes, and brightens his 'smile!'

Now... let's head over to CTS to see what my team has to offer - it'll be worth the click!  and we can't wait to see what your brilliant minds see in Chrissy's Sketch!

A whale of a card, Michele. Oh wait. That's a shark isn't it? ;) Love the splashy look to his home and of course your punny sentiment. Sea-prise indeed.

Oh you rocked this sketch for sure! And I have to say I am loving this lil shark! You've really used the set fabulously. Love the inking and the cut of the waves. The gloss on the eyes and teeth are great textural elements.

I have to say when I saw this sketch, I couldn't wait to see what you came up with Michele! I always look forward to these posts and sketches because you are so creative and just always blow me away with what you come up with! I love, love, love this card! A great take on the sketch, so creative and fun too! That shark just cracks me up, but it is the sentiments that put the finishing touch to this card. A great background with distress inks and boom! You nailed it! Hugs, Brenda

Ahhhh! I'm a bit afraid of sharks...don't watch during shark week and can't watch Jaws when it's on, what can I say?
Well, I do LOVE this fun card, Michele! Great job with your smooshed background and I love how you colored that scary boy! Clever take on the sketch, as always!
