A challenge is a great way to start our crafty New Year, and I'm always so inspired by Altenew's Inspiration Challenge photos - this month's is no exception.
Here is where it took me ... a little oval piece of this darling Pinkfresh paper provided just the perfect yellow ... and Altenew's Beautiful Day provided the darling flowers ...don't you think?
a Cheesecloth background stamp, and Morning Frost ink added that bit of grey in their color graphic.
The lovely Dark Chocolate cardstock was a perfect compliment to their Espresso Dye Ink... I didn't think it needed one bit of coloring.
I have found my mojo... YAY!
Thanks to all the challenges in our blogging world!
Thanks for dropping by today ...
Go Mojo! this is fabulous Michele, love how you have left the flower as line art, i always struggle with that and want to colour everything lol.
Yes, your mojo has returned with renewed vigor (or vigour, in Canadian *grin*). Chocolate and espresso are a perfect pairing; fabulous accompaniment to your perfect Pinkfresh yellow! Sending happy thoughts and hugs to you as well!
Lovely card Michele, it takes me right to the inspiration photo.
Such a beautiful card and layout, Michele, and just perfect for the inspiration photo.
I would say you found your mojo and then some!! Mine's floating around out there somewhere, if you find it please send it my way LOL!! Your card is extra pretty Michele and I love the way you were inspired. The snippet of paper you used for your oval is sweet! Love your pretty card.
I'm fairly certain your mojo never takes a day off, or goes on vacation for weeks at a time like mine does... This is gorgeous. Not just pretty. Not just beautiful. It's way above that level. The patterned paper is the perfect compliment to those uncolored flowers. Love this one. P.S. Sending freezing rain your way...sorry about that. Bev
A beautiful inspired card - you captured the photo perfectly - lofe the white sentiment on the brown and the pretty outline blooms!
Beautiful, Michele! I wish I had my mojo like you have yours!
Stunning! LOVE this Michele!
Beautiful! Clean and simple, with a fresh color palette. LOVE the floral image!
Gorgeous! All the elements work together perfectly and helped you create a delightful card, Michele! Those challenges sure do work well for you! :)
This card is totally you, Michele. A tad of pp, fabulous die cuts, a little whimsy and a lot of design talent. I'm taking a cue from our conversation and using background stamps more too.
I tried so hard to get your mojo to come live with me......no luck.....your mojo is true blue to you! This card is beautiful and elegant! Love it!
Gorgeous take on the inspiration photo, and I love that you left the blooms uncolored...very clever, Michele! Cheers to finding your mojo, and creating such a beautiful card!!!
This is so pretty! I love all the details like the bg stamp for the card base and your use of the smaller stamps in the Beautiful Day set... Stunning card!
As Therese said, it was the perfect no-touch :)! It's hard for me either to leave some image uncolored :)! A lovely CAS take on the inspiration photo!
A true beauty, Michele ... each little detail is perfectly placed ... and each one is in perfect harmony with all the others! Found your mojo? Goodness, yes, mon amie ... more like more mojo layered up on top of the amazing mojo you already have! Hugs, Anita :)
For sure no colouring or anything else needed on this lovely card, Michele - it is perfect just the way it is!!!! Love that soft cheesecloth bg. Great layering and still having a lovely CAS feel - that's a master at work!!!! Had a loss of mojo??? - that definitely didn't show in your cards, my friend - happy for you that it's back!!!!
Wahh!!! Michelle, I love your clean and simple design, colors are so stylish as the whole card is! Thanks for taking a part in our challenge and Yay for your mojo!!!
