I certainly have not used my Prisma Color pencils, or kraft, enough, so I'm excited for Challenge #8 'color on kraft!'
I've used a NBUS set of stamps and dies from Impress Cards and Crafts. I was so lucky to have won these products - isn't that the best? - from one of their fun #impresscardsandcrafts IG challenges! The set is called So Many Things to Love, and I think it's fabulous!
"I couldn't begin to count them ... though YOU counting ME as your friend
is at the top of the list!"
The hearts were stamped, kraft on white, and clear heat embossed on kraft. I haven't had much practice coloring with Prisma's at all, but I won't hesitate to keep trying!
I used the matching dies to impress the largest heart on the card front, and die cut the kraft ... I even had kraft colored foam to give that little one a bit of a lift!
Thanks Impress, for the wonderful prize, and thanks to Darnell for giving us all the opportunity to win her fabulous line up of prizes, too! Just playing along is a total win for me!
OH! thanks to all of you who drop by for a visit ... what a way to make a girl's day!
Pretty! I think I should give this a go....I love watercoloring but not such a fan of the pencils, so it would be good for me to s-t-r-e-t-c-h myself, doncha think?
Beautifully colored in with pencil, Michele! Pretty card! Hope you have a bit of sunshine !
I just LOVE the double hearts on this!! Really gorgeous! :)
Soooo pretty Michele, great idea to have the kraft section as one of the hearts!
Pretty, pretty! LOVE the prismacolors on kraft... such beautiful fuchsia flowers!
Very pretty card. Love the kraft heart with the colored flowers.
I love the mix of white and kraft Michele. Fabulous card.
Michele you nailed it with this card, how clever a little bit of kraft with white, spot on. Just adore the design and colouring.
You picked the perfect color to use on kraft Michele!! This is so pretty. Congrats on winning this set, it looks fabulous!
OMGosh, I'm so behind on the times!!! Didn't know there was a new NBUS challenge from Auntie Darnell, now I need to get on the stick and get something made. Love how your card turned out Michele, it is just beautiful! You colored with your Prisma's so well! I've never colored on Kraft colored cardstock before so this should be interesting. lol Hugs, Brenda
Lovely card Michelle, the colouring on kraft is so pretty and vibrant.
Love the design of this Michele, with the embossed heart and then the dimensional heart - such pretty flowers too.
Oh, your little craft heart is simply beautiful, Michele!!!! The brighter colouring on the kraft and the much lighter pink and green on the bigger heart is such a great idea!!!! And I LOVE the sentiment on the bright pink banner!!!! It is such a great sentiment and your card is simply GORGEOUS, my friend!!!!!
Have a great weekend!!!
Your coloring on kraft looks fantastic! I really like how the pink and green pop off the kraft. And then you added the flower on the whie heart. Such a lovely contrast. That pink for the sentiment just makes me happy. I love a good saturated color like that. And the way the sentiment looks so crisp and clean. That sentiment is wonderful too. Such a delightful card. Thanks so much for sharing it, my friend! :) Hugs!
WOW ! This card is absolutely stunning Michele ! I love your whole design ! What a great idea to use the kraft to make the smallest heart ! And your colouring is superb ! Thanks for sharing and for inspiring.
This is such a sweet card, Michele, and your coloring is just fine. Better than that - it's wonderful. I love how the leaves stick off the side of the heart. I never think to impress dies into my card. I'd better make a note of that.
Sweet and pretty! This caught my eye on Darnell's challenge and had to come look. Beautifully crafted and krafted!
So pretty!! Love the embossed flowers and then how you stamped over it in gold. Such a cool design. Love the white on the pink for the lovely sentiment too!! Great design!
So pretty, Michele, and what a lovely prize! I absolutely LOVE how you personalise the inside of each of your marvellous creations with your own heartfelt sentiments...unique and oh-so special, gorgeous friend.
You chose the perfect hue of colored pencil for those sweet flowers, Michele! And I adore how you used the bold CS with your sediment embossed in white! (Kraft-colored foam? What will they think of next - or have I been under a rock?!) Congratulations on the great win and thank you for playing in my NBUS Challenge #8 and joining in the optional theme! Hugs, Darnell
Wonderful new products and they worked beautifully for your card. Love the bright color on kraft and using only the one heart in kraft makes an awesome design!
This is so very pretty, Michele! Those flowers are so delicate and the colors you've used are just gorgeous!
Oh, how BEAUTIFUL, Michele! Your coloring is just perfect for these darling blooms, and I love how you impressed the larger heart on your background...I love your crisp, clean sentiment, too! Congrats on your win :)
What a fantastic idea to pair the kraft heart with the white one! And the scattered flowers are so pretty! Love this card!
What a beauty, Michele ... those sweet blooms are so wonderfully coloured ... and I love how you created dimension with the impressed white and popped up kraft hearts ... gorgeous! Hugs, Anita :)
Sweet and adorable, Michele! Love that kraft heart on the white and bright pink.
Another wow card Michele and maybe I will give it a go, I have these water colour pencils that have never seen the light of day..... :) x
