Just us Girls #684

I have always loved the idea of these little beach huts - a great place to put on your bathing suit but the best ones would have showers available to wash off the sand from one's day of frolicking at the beach, right?

Today's musings come from this fabulous photo mood board at Just us Girls ...

Something tells me these kids don't give any notice to all that sand - you'll have to use your imagination to see that the view is FROM the huts...

This sweet little parade of peeps were stamped for me years ago by a sweet friend -
thanks, Lisa - and for your darling reminder on your DT card this week.

I was so happy Lisa stamped them in Copic-friendly ink!
After coloring the kids, I created an ocean with broad strokes of Copic markers, and then
blended over the top with CP Skylight ink.

My water's edge die is an oldie from The Cat's Pajamas and provides a
spot for a bit of Wink of Stella that I also splattered on my ocean!

The JUGS designers have provided sand-pales-full of inspiration - go see, then PLAY!  Thanks for stopping by today!

Should have known this was a Lisa image, but you have totally made it your own with the water and sand additions...totally delightful scene!! Hugs. :0)

That's me in the middle! A hundred years ago. I could not love this one more, Michele. Right up my sand dune... I love the way you did the water. Just a pure delight!

I love those beach huts, too, We don't have them here. They'd probably blow away. I'm certain those cute kids don't care one whit about the sand in their bathing suits. I spent a lot of time in a wet bathing suit on the beach when I was growing up and I sure didn't care. Really an adorable card, Michele!

Oh my goodness, this is such a darling card Michele! I love those little beach huts too, but always wondered what they looked like inside. I'm guessing it is just kind of like a tent or something like that....empty one room building or like back in the 50's, tents. LOL I can imagine how messy they would be with these kiddo's changing into their swimwear, they other clothes all over the place. LOL I think these kids are adorable, I love the way you colored each of them. So darling! I love your sand, your ocean-I can see the waves rolling in and the depth! Love the shape and the stitched line showing the beach line. Such a darling card and that sentiment is so true! I'd like to be sitting on that beach, watching these cutie pies going by. Sitting on the beach today here, would be cold! No sun either and temps in the low to mid 60's. Isn't it supposed to be summer? At this rate, I'll never get in the pool! Hugs, Brenda
