Vicki Dutcher - Muse No. 88

I am usually not so early with my Muse submission.  I like to take a look on a daily basis to get a feel for the inspiration; think about what supplies I have that would work for it.  Yesterday?  BAM!!  Vicki Dutcher's inspiration card just grabbed me, and away I went!!

Here is Vicki's inspiration... see if it gives you a burst of creative energy, too:

I didn't have a quality black cardstock, so I reached for Smoky Shadow from PTI and Ranger Fine Detail embossing powder, and another dose of one of my favorite Technique Tuesday sentiments.

For Muse 88, and Vicky:

I love this look so much, I made a second helping:

This time Fuse Green CS from MFT - which totally reads gold to my eyes, Ranger Pewter embossing powder, Clearly Besotted sentiment,
and that brilliant Agapanthus cling stamp from Stampendous.

Oh! that vellum?  Inked on the back with ink pad - dries slowly, but I love the look and the ability to make any color I want!  Some inks work better than others, so you'll have to do a little experiment on your own... don't make the mistake I did... let it dry, overnight, so the ink doesn't transfer to your card!!

Muse No. 87 - Kimberly Weiner

I am so pleased to see Kimberly Weiner of Weinerhoneymooners as Guest Designer at the Muse Challenge this week!!  Kim is an ever-present, constant cheerleader to all of us, isn't she? Her comments are always positive, and humorous  - which  you know tickles my fancy. I personally think her cards get more beautiful daily!

Here is Kim's gorgeous inspiration:

Love the colors - and that bird!

When is enough, enough?  That is the hardest thing for me... when to say 'when!'  So here you go, Kimberly and Muse #87:

Mama Elephant Sweet Havana, stamps and banner die.
Milled Lavender Distress Ink - a sweet prize from Jennifer McGuire!!
And a touch of Old Olive-S.U. - old color, still love it!

CASology Week 115 - Chocolate!!

Hmmmm... there are some that love dark, some milk, some white... me?  I love it all!  In any shape, or size - but I have a particular fondness for Swiss - dots, and chocolate! =]

For CASology Chocolate, and Therese who warned me of an addiction [to shaker cards]:

Sealed with a Chocolate Kiss!!
Inside sentiment: When it comes to chocolate, I'll take dark, milk, or white...
but when it comes to kisses?  Only yours will do!"
[for Tom who didn't know what S.W.A.K. was!]

Alpha dies and Chocolate Bar CS are PTI; Shaker frame from Reverse Confetti's Love Note.
Dotted Swiss embossing folder from Cuttlebug - I think it was my first!
All those xx kisses are the positives from MFT Proof Positive Background die.

Curtain Call with a Smooch

I'm rather in love with the graphic used for The Curtain Call's 'Smooch' -

It took a bit more time for me to come up with a design, but then I remembered a tiny little punch - don't ask what brand, or where I purchased it, as I really don't recall - that might add the perfect little smooch to my card... AND here is my VERY FIRST SHAKER CARD!!!  Far less difficult than I'd lead myself to believe =/

Little leftover bits of raspberry PTI cardstock punched many times;
a few lovely clear sequins from Verve;
and another showing of my favorite Anna Griffin DP and embossing folder.
Dies: Reverse Confetti Tag Me, Too, and a Dynamic's heart.

My husband seriously did not know what s.w.a.k. meant: Sealed with a Kiss!!
We were obviously never pen-pals =/

MOJO365

Mojo Monday #365 calls for a 'Tall and Skinny' card this time.  Check out Julee's great sketch:

I am so thrilled to be able to play along this week!!  Yay for my new Verve Stamps and dies!!
For Julee, and MOJO365:

I took a bit of creative license with two of the 'you' stamps from the You and I set,
it just seemed the perfect caption for this little musical monkey =]
Even the font on the second you looks a bit like his tail, right?

Inside:

Again with the Hey Boy from BasicGrey; a touch of Distress Marmalade inside.

Perfect timing to send another thank you to Verve for the wonderful prize package I won from Verve during the Coffee Bloghop on Monday.  Thanks, Julee!  I've had my eye on that set!!!

Mostly words - Less is More

When I started this blog in May... yes, just this May... I had no idea I would enjoy it as much as I do.  I have loved getting to know so many happy, creative, wonderful people here in Blogland!

I struggled with the name of my blog.  I Card Everyone came from my pun-ny sense of humor.  When I'm wearing my sentiment-writing hat, I prefer: More Than Words.  Some day, someone, somewhere will take my writing seriously and I'll use it!?

Less is More Week 191 challenges us with Mostly Words.  On that note:

Wonderful Words dies from PTI; BasicGrey Hey Boys DP;
clear acetate with a few chosen words from Winnie & Walter, embossed in gold.
[Hope you can see them?]
One little embossed zig-zag stripe on the PTI Kraft background paper, from Cuttlebug.

Thirds, anyone? CTS#94

Last helping, I promise! As you must know I'm full [of it].

I just can't get enough of the Hey Boys paper pack I bought last month!  Perfect colors for the season upon us... you should see our woods!  Well, I guess you have, as my background out the window is getting pretty colorful!

For the Love of Autumn in our woods, and CTS #94:

Another Paper Smooch, and more of that lovely burlap DCWV, and a handful of acorns -
there are trillions this year!!!!  Oh, Oh... we know what that means in Michigan! =/
Inside:  "And many more sentiments... you just have to read between the lines!"

Finally!!!  Bingo?
