Freshly Made Sketches #735

Kim is our sketch artist this week and I think she was a little tired of seeing circles?  But I may be wrong! lol  Take a look at Freshly Made Sketches #735 ...

Even though I'm seeing squares, I thought hexagons might work
great for her layout!
Check it out...

An older honeycomb embossing folder set the stage for the larger
honey-colored hexagons [The Stamp Market.]  Looks like those honeybees [Happy Bee from Waffle Flower Crafts] are happy!

I can't believe I made another square card... just in case you're wondering if
they would work on an A2 card...

I think they work just fine and dandy - using a hex die from Altenew
as my alternative and lots of little scraps of cardstock found among my snippets.

So, do you have an idea brewing yet?  Oh, let me tell you my FMS teammates
will have you playing cards with us before you know it - we hope!

I think your hexagons work great and I'm loving those happy bees! I also love the elegance of the embossed hexagons on the second card. An interesting sketch and I'm loving your interpretations!

You're always thinking outside the box Michele and I love your CAS interpretation!! My mind goes right to squares because that's what I see in the sketch, but love that you used hexagons instead! And who couldn't like those happy bees?! I sure like yours better than the ones that want to build their little houses under our deck railings each summer!! Buut anyway, sweet, sweet card and great take on the sketch my friend!! Hugs. :0)

What a great sketch and as always you've got a clever interpretation! I love your happy honey bees with their double honeycomb background! The textured hexagons are rather elegant and certainly make a beautiful background!

The hexes work well for the sketch and give a different interpretation to inspire others to think outside the square, Michele. The bees are adorable and I love the mix of colors on the embossed hexes.

Your hexagons are just perfect!! I LOVE how you took them from cute little bees to the beautifully elegant details on the second card!

I love both interpretations! The bees are adorable (I just love my bees) but the designs on the second one, as well as the colors, are so soft and pretty! Love them both!

Kive the sketch and I love your hexes and bees. They do indeed look very happy. The second card is just fabulous. I am assuming the Altenew hex die made those wonderful impressions. They remind me of a ceiling tile on a vivtorian ceiling. Just gotgeous.
