The Paper Players #765 a Sketch!

It should come as no surprise that designing from a sketch is one of my favorites - thanks to Ann at The Paper Players, I have one more than planned for the week... and it turns out just the right spot for that little cutie I recently added to my stash from HoneyBee Stamps!  First, here's Ann's sketch...

HoneyBee's Lovely Layers: Vintage Snowman takes up a LOT of real estate,
but I hope you can see the DSPs and debossing I added to my trio of
papers from Ann's sketch here...

Most of these papers are from those Scrapbook.com Merry patterned
papers I bought this year.  Here's her closeup...

I used debossing plates [from the top] WF Tiny Crosses, WF Snowflakes, and
Alex Syberia's Mermaid's Melody for the drifting snow at the bottom.

I never make just one when I get something new... here is her 'mate'...

This set does not have any sentiments, but I had no trouble finding
sweet and suitable sentiments in my stash.

Isn't he the definition of 'dapper?' I love his candy cane!

Our shopping is done so now starts the 'toe tapping' - we can't wait to smell the aromas of Thanksgiving and to welcome our family to the table!

I'll have at least one more card to share this week - I'd love to know what you think of my newest 'snowdude & dude-ette!'

Oh my gosh, Michele! Your snowmen have stolen my heart. I LOVE your take on my sketch, especially the use of the debossed panels. WOW! Great paper choices, too! Thank you for playing in my challenge at The Paper Players this week!

What do I think of them... I'm completely smitten and might just have to go shopping LOL!! Gosh are they ever cute. You know you had me with her polka dot hat and scarf. But by golly his top hat is just the bees knees! CUTE cards, Michelle. My shopping is done too, looking forward to the smell of pumpkin pie!

Darling and dapper! They're both wonderful, all dressed for the occasion. They look quite at home in the snow, and yes, that candy cane is awesome too

Oh please, cut it out! I've been eyeballing these dies and in fact they are sitting in my cart over at Honeybee stamps, just waiting for me to complete the order. You may have pushed me over the edge with these two cutie cards. These are darling!!!!

I'm in awe of your snowpeople building, Michele! WOW! So many pieces and such a fun snowpair! I love the way you used the sketch for the background for the Dudette, and the snowy debossed background for the Dude! Happy cooking and gathering, my friend!

They make a cute pair, Michele, and you've made great use of those paper packs. FYI: I'm not getting things through Follow it! I get an error message and it says it's the host fault, not my browser.

Well, for heaven's sake! Are you going to make me go shopping again? I'm trying so hard to be conservative, but these are some of the cutest things I've seen this year! They're so authentically vintage in that rosy cheeked, cheerful sort of way, and your card designs are so cute, especially the way you've used the sketch. Lovelovelovelovelove!

I'm going to echo Leslie. I thought I had enough snow people and certainly enough new Christmas "stuff" but oh, these two are absolutely darling, Michele! And how you used the sketch is wonderful, creating the debossed panels and using all those pretty papers. Love Mr. Snowman too. Oh, so charming! Thank you for playing along at the Paper Players and I hope you have a joyful Thanksgiving with your family!

If those aren't thee cutest snowpeople--festive and dapper at the same time! And yes! I can see the sketch and love the debossing treatment on each panel!

Goodness gracious, these snow people are amazing! You have waaaaaay more patience than I do, to assemble all those pieces, but look at the end result! I love them both, but I really love the background on the first one! Although that snowy embossed background on the Mr is pretty snazzy too! ALL those details add up to some pretty darn fancy Christmas cards that anyone would love! Thanks for sharing this with the Paper Players' sketch challenge this week!
