Hello, friends! I do hope you don't mind... you see I loved that gift so much, I decided to use it for my reminder card, too! SO pretty in purple which is the name of the game this month for The Flower Challenge!
Instead of watercoloring, I stamped them in black ink, and added color
using the coordinating stencils from Altenew's Flutter & Bloom!
My friend Marcia keeps me well-stocked in embossed panels!
I just grab a handful of panels from home and rifle through her EF stash until I find
a few that I don't own. A bit of mindless embossing makes it easy to keep chatting!
I think this grey is stunning with my purple blooms
- and a sentiment pulled from my snippets was also stamped in grey so
it made finishing my card really quick!
Speaking of quick - get those floral stamps out quickly! You have plenty of
time to make some purple-floral cards and get them planted in our gallery!
You HAVE to see the ways my teamies have used purple!

Another beauty Michele and I love the soft ink blended blooms against that gray embossed background...lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0) (Had to chuckle that the embossed background was from one of my ef's...do you think I have too much that I don't even remember what I do have??!! Hahahaha!!!)
Fabulous! Wow, what a great inked stamp set, and that lovely pierced plaid is pretty amazing too -- great card, Michele
The purples against your "go to" gray is the perfect pairing, together with the subtle embossing. Love how it all came together--sheer perfection!
I don't mind one little bit! That gift you love so much looks simply marvelous on that lovely gray embossed panel! Another pretty card, Michele!
You are right about the purple and grey, just gorgeous and that's great texture on the background xx
More purple flowers... look at you go GF! Love the soft effect that you have achieved with the ink blending... very dreamy!
These flowers are perfect in purple, Michele! So pretty on the gray embossed background!
So lovely in every way!
You can play with these purple flowers as often as you like and they'll always be beautiful! Love them on the gray and, BTW, it sounds like so much fun to while away some chatty time with Marcia's embossing folders!
