Freshly Made Sketches #699

Hello my friends!  May I ask: if it's okay for Christmas cards in July, can it also be okay to make Halloween cards in August?  Verena gave me all the Halloween vibes I needed with her fun Freshly Made Sketch #699 ...

Are you feelin' the vibes??  How about now...

Clean. Simple. boo-ti-ful.  Maybe too cute to spook?  How about this...

But don't think that YOU have to go all spooky with it!  No!
You can make that circle into anything your heart desires!
Let's go see what Verena had in mind when she designed FMS699!

Awwwwww...both of these are adorable Michele! Definitely too cute to spook, but Halloween all the way! The circle sketch lends itself boo-tifully to both cards too, and now I want to go make some Halloween cards, even though I still have Christmas all over my desk!! Sweet, sweet cards my friend!! Hugs. :0)

I think it's perfectly acceptable to make Halloween cards ANY time! I love them both, but that starry background on the first one has me swooning!

The circle is perfect for Halloween card and each of these is definitely my kind of cute spooks.

Spooky cute and scary too! A creative reminder to get on to those Halloween cards! Both of these are spooktacular, my friend!

Yes! to Halloween in August! Both cards are so clever--especially the first with the crescent moon and not too spooky ghost! I can't help but smile at both cards!

Both are super cute and not only is Halloween going to be here before we know it but we run a Halloween challenge ALL year long at Two Old Bats!!

Too cute to spook and oodles of fun! Is that a panel of vellum stars I'm seeing on the first one? Love it!

You bet your pointy little boots that these cards are boo-tiful, and definitely too cute to spook! Gotta love them both, Michele

When the inspiration strikes you go with it no matter the time of year, Michele. Plus you inspire others to make their Halloween cards. These are both so fun and colorful and ready to spook.

These are just so much fun, Michele. What a wonderful way to use the sketch (which I love).I love the simplcity of both cards and what a wonderful statement they both make with the elements you used to compose them. I am far behind on my visits. You sure are arting a whole heck of a lot!

I take a different stance than most, it seems... NOT ok for Christmas in July & NOT ok for Halloween in August! So tired of retail stores always 2 months (or more) in advance of various holidays. Hate seeing in the craft community too. Summer is in full swing with fall rapidly approaching...can't we celebrate that???

I'm good with all of it all the time when it's so cute as this! If we do Christmas in July and Halloween in August it doesn't mean we're not still celebrating summer. We just having fun! When I saw the sketch I was eager to see what you would create with it. Love your interpretation! Cute dies, and got to love those distressed corners on the second card, too!
