By now you know I seldom make just one card while I have my supplies out - and I have another new stencil I wanted to get inky! For Color Hues #78 ...
This lovely Waffle Flower Rose Background Stencil actually has a 'backup singer' look closely to see their Puffy Square Stencil that I picked up during their 'moving sale.' The Thought Bubbles die is from The Stamp Market. There is a rectangle and a square - in my view the square mimics the shape of those puffy squares.
I chose just one of the roses to add to it.
It's amazing to me how differently inks look 'stenciled' rather than stamped!
So soft and lovely, aren't they?
This little FRIEND sentiment is from that often-used
Thanks a Bunch set from HoneyBee Stamps - as well as the pearls.
There are lots of fun challenges getting back to business after the holidays! I better get crafting! Thanks for stopping by!

Soft and lovely is a perfect description! The roses looks fabulous in shades of blue. That pattern would make a beautiful quilt--just the right colors for my bedroom! Thanks for sharing with us at Color Hues!
They definitely are soft and lovely. It is so nice to see you use the same colours again but in a different way. Thanks for all the inspiration. Happy Friday xx

Such a pretty card, Michele. Love the blues you selected to show off that lovely stencil! Thanks for sharing!
Such beautiful flowers in these shades of blue, Michele! The added stenciled squares add even more depth! I think you have a winner here, my friend.
This is so pretty in winter blues. The thought bubble is such a cute idea!
Oh wow, this is so beautiful!! All those shades of blues look real good together.
Oh, oh, oh!! I DO love this card...you know I love blues and these are so soft and pretty! The gray is a perfect go-along too! Fun little diecut for your sentiment too!
That feint stenciling was a genius idea, Michele. No surprise... Beautiful card!
I agree about how soft and pretty the inks look when stenciled. This is beautiful and fun at the same time. I see those puffy squares in the background. The Thought Bubbles die with the rose and sentiment brings all that beauty forward and makes for a really special card!
Oh I love Delft (my dad was from Holland…..it’s in the blood!) and that’s all I could think of when I saw this gorgeous card!
Michele, both of your cards for this challenge are soo gorgeous but I have to say these softly stenciled roses and the word bubble die make this one my fav. It's always so wonderful to see your cards in the Color Hues gallery, thanks so very muchfor joining us!
What a beautiful use of that stencil in blues! And I love the single flower on the word bubble!
Nice…those colors look so good all over!
I was just thinking to myself the other day after stenciling about how different the colors look when stamped. The blue roses are so soft and pretty.
Of course you made a second card Michele and this one is as pretty as the first. Love that stencil! Thanks again for joining us at the Color Hues!
