I can always depend on my friend Marcia to get me out a slump - even when she totally challenges me with her chosen colors as hostess of Color Hues #78...
I reached for some neutral greys and found just the right hues of blue to add the first ink to this lovely Create your own Happy set from Alex Syberia Designs:
I tucked a scalloped panel of navy under my stamped panel and my 'work'
here is done!
I'm not sure I really like the 'celebrate' in this sentiment stamped in blue, but since it is almost 'one layer' I'm leaving well enough alone. I did give the final panel a trip through that favored SU Subtle Texture embossing folder before adding it to my card base. Somehow it always seems the right finishing touch!
Thank you, Marcia, for igniting my creative fires again!

You can make all stamp sets look like something for my wish list. I love your arrangement, and these blues are so pretty with the grays. Beautifully simple. The tiny scallops are just the right touch of something extra.
LOVE your use of the colors! Gorgeous card 😊
You used these blues so beautifully, Michele! And I LOVE those navy scallops peeking out around the edge!

Oh Michele this is gorgeous!!! Happy New Year!
Sometimes you just have to accept an element that you feel is not quite right. It is not worth risking the whole card for. Love the soft cool colours on this one and especially the tiny peak of the scalloped edge poking out. Gorgeous xx
I agree 100% with Leslie -

So pretty. Love the flowers in blue with the gray leaves. The small scallop navy border is just the right touch. TFS
The darker blue really helps the lighter sentiment stand on its own. Never would have seen any missing mojo

Beautiful, Michele! Gray is a great neutral for leaves and I love the variety of blues. The tiny peek of scallop really sets off the panel.
Gorgeous job with our colors, Michele. I especially love the small hint of scallops around the edge and the corner layout. I love the two-toned sentiment too. Thanks for playing at Color Hues and I hope 2024 is starting off well for you and Tom.
Beautiful card using the color challenge, Michele. I love the gray accents that look amazing with shades of blue. Great design ... that scalloped edged frame is so sweet! xx
The scalloped border really is a fantastic touch just peeking through and the celebrate sentiment for me works beautifully with those soft colours.
