The Flower Challenge #69 - Blue and Yellow

Continued support for those brave people of Ukraine, we've chosen blue and yellow for our color challenge this month at The Flower Challenge!   My card started with a few foiled hexagons from Pinkfresh Studios... foiled one at a time, of course...

... and then the fun continued with stamping galore!

I think this is as 'mixed media' as I've ever been! ha!  Only a few shades of blue, and yellow were used to color my flowers, and butterflies.  Then I added bits of stamping in grey, a few random dots of color, and a wonderful sentiment from W+9's Flora and Fauna 3 set - love that there is a die included for that sentiment!

I'm looking forward to all the blue and yellow cards in our gallery this week!  Thank you for playing!  Come see what my friend Nancy Penir, of Artful Notions, has added to our gallery as our featured guest this month!

What a nice surprise to see your mixed media card, Michele!
Love the fresh design with the 3 hexagons, and the sentiment having the same background (script stamping) as the flowers and butterflies'. Great job of foiling the hexagons 3 times so cleanly!

Everything about this card is perfect! Those hexagons look fabulous with the WP9 set. I wanted to get the hexagons but the matching dies were out of stock, so I bought the stars instead - both sets are great and I'm sure the hexagons will end up in my cart in the not too distant future :)
