Color Hues #43 - Blue & Green

I am beyond happy that this fabulous duo of colors came up at Color Hues #43!

I've been sitting on several panels made during a fun 'smooshing session' with Distress Oxide Blueprint Sketch and lucky clover inks.  I'm going to throw a challenge out to my kind visitors today - if you can tell me what I used to stamp these images, I'll send you the card!  Of course, the first one to guess correctly wins!

Ready.  Set.  Guess...

Good luck to you... and me, too!

No winner yet - keep guessing! 6/20 8:15

[An SSS die from a dear friend made this make pretty easy - thanks, Coni! you ARE loved so very much!]

Love the colors! I'm gonna guess that you used a drinking glass for the design.

Looks almost like the base of a ball of string lol.

You certainly had the perfect piece for this challenge, Michele! I have no idea what you used to stamp with but it worked beautifully! Love, love, love the die cut sentiment!

Hi There!

This is a very unique and fun card. I am guessing you used a kitchen utensil
for the design, specifically a wire whip type thing that has an open bottom, similar to a whisk.

Oh this is so pretty, Michele. You are also challenging! LOL It looks like something that is rolled up to me. It's probably something plastic, but I'll go with my first thought which is rolled up paper towel. :) I know I'm going to kick myself when you share what it was!

Great abstract painting, Michele, but I have no idea what you used.

What a fun card! I love the little blue eyes you added to that special sentiment. No clue what you used, but it worked great!

I love how it looks like two eyes peeking out of the U! Beautiful card! And I think you stamped with flowers!

It's a beautiful card anyone would love receiving, M! I'm guessing a potato. I remember stamping with a potato a few years ago and the look was similar. Great use of the challenge colors! Hugs, D

What a unique and free-spirited background you made with the smooshing technique, Michele! I would guess you used a carrot!

Love your artsy card in these two fabulous colors Michele! I have no clue what you used to stamp with, but I am going to guess (a way off guess) is that it is either a paper towel/toilet paper or wrapping paper tube. Which doesn't really make sense with the "oval" looking stamping, but that's what I got. Which ain't much! lol Very cool card though my sweet friend in one of my favorite color combos! Hugs, Brenda

Beautiful card Michele! I have no idea what stamp you ued but the first thing that popped into my head was an old Ellen Hutson stamp--they are line drawn flowers. I can't remember the name of it but your card is wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing with us at the Color Hues!!

Artsy and fun! Love the colors too... Did you use Altenew's Brush Art Florals? That's what came to mine when I saw it anyway!

Super interesting about the stamping on this card! Who knew a full stalk of celery could stamp something that looks like roses? Love how you've given the sentiment a little smiley face. So cute, Michele!

Sorry I am late to this party, I have had a busy week and now I have read the answer to your question, I am not at all surprised nobody guessed it. It is surprising what you can turn into a stamp. Love the card and the splatters xx

We've been eating WAY too many avocados so it's on my brain and I'm gonna guess it was on yours, too! Love the abstract-ness and the perfect shades of blue and green.

I can't find your answer, but I immediately thought it was an onion when I saw this last week. Celery? Hmmmmm. Whatever it is, I love the way it came out. And the colors are wonderful together.
