Where Women Create - Word of the Year

I'm sending a card over to Where Women Create on Instagram today.  But thought I'd share with you, just in case you have a word that you're particularly fond of this year.  I gave 'my word' a lot of thought and came to the conclusion that HOPE continues to be what gets me through any day!

Two Altenew sets came together to help me showcase my word:  Build-A-Flower Triumph Tulip [my newest tulip acquired in 2020] and their Caps Bold Alphabet dies.

My message?  Hope is attainable - sometimes hidden or buried by other emotions - but worth every bit of effort to find.

Here are the inks I've used today for layering these gorgeous shades-of-turquoise tulips:

Hope is a perfect word for any day or year, Michele! Your card is so inspiring as hope does hide from us sometimes and we have to search deep to find even a tiny shred. But then that tiny shred can grow into the focus of our lives. Awesome, my friend!

Simply a stunning and elegant card! If we didn't have hope, how would one continue to live?

What a wonderful card and a perfect word. Without hope where would we be? I sure hope you are having a good week and thanks for this glorious pause in my hectic morning. Bless your heart!

Isn't HOPE the reason we get out of bed in the morning? It is for me especially since the children, dog and cat are gone. Think your word is univerally true and think your card is absolutely gorgeous. Those tulips are simply beautiful.

Your word of the year should be everyone's, Michele. I love it hidden among the tulips where it can surprise us with wonderful outcomes.

The most perfect sentiment and we all have to hold onto 'Hope' Michele x. I love how you've hidden it, just to peep out from those beautiful and contemporary tulips. Another stunner x.
