A very quick post for a card that took ALL AFTERNOON! Oh, goodness! I am really rusty when it comes to fusing - especially when there is patterned paper involved! My card is a mini-slimline which doesn't allow for much real estate for adding embellishments. But I'm happy with the results - and I needed a belated birthday card that should [fingers crossed] bring a smile...
The papers I used today were a gift from a sweet friend - that base paper was IMHO a perfect 'chalkboard' look with florals instead of the graphic coffee-related words in the Fusion Coffee Chalkboard photo. Add to that: my cup, a few little blooms cut from Bazzill Pale Rose, and Alpaca card stock, and a linen lined shelf for a quick fusion to their sketch.
That's it for me - hope you have a great weekend!!

Thanks so very much, Fusion!

I don't know which I love more, the pretty little cup or the linens on the shelf! Well heck who am I kidding, I love the whole card!
The dark chalkboard 'look' background shows off your 'little' scene to perfection Michele x. The 'linen lined shelf' is adorable and what a fun sentiment too x.
A well spent afternoon..that card is near perfection IMHO (I had to look up if you can believe it!).
Oh my my……I am swooning over the pale napkins and sweet arrangement….and my new favorite word is AFFOGATTO…..
You are so clever with color and design. This card is a ideal fusion of the mood board and beautifully assembles, as always.

An awesome interpretation of this sketch, Michele! I love this sweet scene that you've fit so perfectly on the mini slimline card! It's sure to bring a smile!
Such a pretty tablescape!!! I think I'm only going to make belated birthday cards from now on since I don't seem to be able to send them out on time. ROFL!
Oh, yes, I know the feeling. It's like spending all afternoon or longer cooking a great meal and it's gobbled up in minutes. But it's still fun! You made a delightful card with the fusion inspiration.
A wonderful paper choice for the background, Michele! It does look like a chalkboard, and the pale pink dainty blooms and linen shelf pop against the dark background. The punny sentiment is fun. This card made me check out an Affogato recipe! :-D Yummy!!
LOVE this! What a great little scene you have created!
I love all the different elements on this one. Of course it will bring a smile. It often takes me all afternoon to make a card, always have been a slow coach. Love the coffee cup xx
