The team over at the CAS Christmas card challenge have gifted us with a lovely way to start our 2022 stash ... Silver and Gold!
I made my card with my friend Bonnie in mind - she has been wishing for snow, and I've been wishing all the snow in our forecast would head her way =]
I found a fun way to send her a few flakes...
A new little MFT die called Message in a Bottle, found its way to my stash!
The Stamp Market's sentiment, a very old EF, and silver and gold sequins for snow!
I'm so happy your wish came true this weekend, Bonnie!
That's a fabulous way to send someone some snow Michele! Your jar shaker is unusual and you've made the embossed panel look so fresh. LOVE this card! Hugs - and I hope it's not too late to wish you a happy new year! Vicky x
How absolutely darling!
CUUUUUTE! She'll love it. What a sweet little shaker card, all your snowflakes are wonderful, and NO SHOVELING!
What a fun idea and a fabulous card to send to Bonnie. Great dimension from the embossing folder and loving that cute little bottle and all that snow! x.
If only it were this simple Michele!! I'd bottle it up and send to Bonnie (any anyone else who wants the stuff!!) too, but I don't think I could have done it as elegantly as you have!! That die is just perfect for your shaker element, and all those little gold and silver sequins make it shine just like the real stuff when the sun hits it! LOVE the embossed background too! Thanks so much for sharing this beauty with us at CAS Christmas...lovely, lovely card!! Hugs. :0)
Oh if I had a magic sprinkler like that I would sprinkle it every morning all winter to start the day fresh! Such a fun idea! Adorable card!
Not much chance of snow here right now lol. but so happy for you guys. and your glittery snow filled jar is perfect Michele!
Fabulous! What a fantastic card design executed to perfection. Oh if we could only ship weather off to various parts of the country this way! :)
Thank you Michele! I love your sparkly snow as much as the real thing, my friend! The embossed background is perfect to "bury" this awesome jar of twinkles! Love, love, love this card!
Lovely card and sentiment!!!
Sweetest shaker I've seen in forever...looks so perfect cut from that embossed panel. It's a winner in my book.
What a cute little shaker card and that embossing is so crisp and clean, very impressive xx
Bonnie got her wish even without your card, Michele. lol But she sure inspired a fabulous card. The bottle is perfect for a shaker.
What a great die to use as for a shaker Michele! Love the gold stopper and all the pretty sparkles inside to shake! I'm sure Bonnie treasures this! Oh what a fun card Michele. Love hat lil bottle of fun.
This puts me in mind of last year's Newbery Award Winner - When You Tame a Tiger by Tae Keller. Star jars are a very big piece of this wonderful story. Your snowflake jar is fantastic. Wonderfully creative!
LOVE this, Michele! Love the water bottle (or whatever flask it is), and your bottled flakes to send a little joy
What a fun and creative way to send Bonnie snowflakes in a bottle, Michele!
