... before the Christmas Season takes over my craft studio! and Winter takes over my world!
The EBE Birch Tree cover plate is certainly versatile for every season! Here I've used it for Christmas... Here for Halloween. I couldn't leave Fall, and Thanksgiving out of the mix, now could I?
It was as easy as cutting two of the panels from Neenah Dessert Storm card, and flipping one ... after sponging with the black soot, one can hardly tell the one on the right is backwards, right?
My next card is all about that die - and a few wonderful Autumn colored card stocks:
Altenew's Wood grain Bark paper is so gorgeous - I usually keep it for special occasions - like now. I think it's genius of EH to include the die that cuts all of those fun leaves with the trees, too... these were made colorful by cutting from a smooshed panel that I found in my stash. My harvest moon is cut with one of the EBE Essential Circles from a PTI paper, and the card base is Oyster Grey 100# card stock.
Before I thank you for stopping by... I feel I must share my Inkspirational inspiration for my first card...

Check it out today, if you haven't before!

Two great cards with that tree die, love how you have reversed it o n the first card and the wonderful contrast with the pops of colour on your second card is just stunning xx
Great stretching of your die, Michele. The die works well for autumn.
Oooooh...these are FUN! LOVE that Thanksgiving bear, he's a cutie, but those pretty little leaves on the second card are pretty sweet too!
What a versatile Birth tree cover plate Michele x.
Such a fun thanksgiving card and loving the bear and how you flipped the die cut x. Such a contemporary and fabulous Fall card and the bark paper sure does add wonderful texture x.

Definitely more bang for your buck, it's such a versatile die I totally agree!!
Your little bear peaking out from those trees is too cute for words! Oh golly do I love this card. Your harvest moon and autumn leaves are pretty special too. Two amazing cards!
Clever way to encourage a denser forest and using that photo inspiration! You're making good use of the die.
These are beautiful, Michele. The sky on the first one is perfection. Wonderful work, my friend. Hugs! :)
I just placed a huge EH order, thanks to you, and now look what you’ve done! I could not love this card more! The cover plate is on its way to me. That bear is so adorable in his pilgrim hat. I just live these and the brain that came up with them!!!!!
I LOVE both your woodland scenes, Michele! You are sure tempting me with that die! Love the bear peeking out from the trees and how you've reversed the die cut to fill in the woods. The Fall tree with those gorgeous leaves is so bright and pretty, just like Autumn!
That tree die is awesome Michelle and you've used it beautifully on both cards! The bear card takes the cake though...he is just too stinkin CUTE!! Hope you're doing well my friend...miss you!! Hugs. :0)
Baby bear peeking through the trees is adorable, Michele. I hope he plans to make pies with his pumpkins. Turning the die cut around was such a great idea and I love the sprinkling of Fall leaves.
Aaaah, my favorite bear. He really gets around doesn't he. Especially adorable in that wonderful forest scene. Also, the way you used black and white on the second card with just a hint of color is awesome.
Adorable cards, Michele, and you've proved once again how brilliant you are - Flipping that die was fantastic!
Two terrific cards but that bear peeking out of the trees and your amazing background really captures me!
Love these! i'm pretty sure that bear drinks coffee in the woods too.
You’ve really shown many fun uses for that background die. Awesome cards!
What a lovely, rich autumnal feel to your fall card, Michele ... and how cute is that little bear in your halloween scene ... he'd be adorable no matter his outfit or his surroundings ... so fun! Hugs, Anita :)

Gorgeous fall cards! Always happy to see a bear on your cards!
Super cute cards, Michele! I love the bear peeking through the trees and your woodgrain bark paper is sheer perfection...gotta get me some of that :)
Flipping the Birch Tree die-cut to make forest is a clever idea, Michele! The bear peeking from behind the trees is so adorable! This guy (and the original bigger one) is my all time favorite. Everything is so beautifully colored and sponged.
The bright leaves of the fall card beautifully pop against the dark wood grain bark paper. Love the crisp and graphic feeling of the card!
Hideko xx
These are both lovely for fall Michele, I especially love the bear from Ellen, super cute! Do you every get mixed up whether or not you have commented on a card already on a blog or IG? I think I live in a state or confusion--lol!
FABULOUS cards Michele! Love the layering genius in both. Thank you for joining us at INk~
