SugarPea Mix it Up Challenge #70

I love the photo inspiration from SugarPea Designs Mix it Up Challenge #70...

The books are hidden in my card, but you'll get the idea...

Who knows if the kids will actually need a
backpack, or a laptop, this school year.
Even 'apple polishing' will be different this year, right?
I loved this Buffalo Check so much I made a second one -
I couldn't resist the fruity sentiment from
this SugarPea set - sadly no longer available:

Here we are, another Friday … remember when we could make plans for a movie, or dinner out?  However you spend your evening, I hope you enjoy every minute of it!

Thanks for spending a bit of your week with me!!

So cute! I love the buffalo check, too! Side note - As I was putting the kiddos to bed a few minutes ago I had a card mulling in my head. As soon as I saw the inspiration photo you used I had to laugh. It reminds me so very much of the card I was creating in my head. I think I need to make it now.

This little girl is sooo stinkin' adorable. She looks right at home on that buffalo check and those sentiments are awesome.
Me and my date tonight are having breakfast for dinner...corned beef hash and eggs.

Both cards are so sweet, especially with the vellum and the Buffalo Check background. Love the facial expression of the girl. Somehow she makes me think you looked like her when you were a kid. :-)
Have a great weekend, my friend!

Loving the inspiration photo, kids everywhere are wishing things were back to normal and they could go back to school in the normal way. That won't be happening though for a while. But....I am so loving your take on this photo Michele!! I am in love with the buffalo check or gingham, which ever it is, so much! I love the image, so cute, so well colored and so perfect! Then there is the sentiment, how cute and one that used to be said a lot. Not sure why it still isn't. Then the second card, I had to chuckle over that sentient because that is one that is well used even today. lol Yes, I remember well how one could make plans to go out. This is one year I am wishing away because 2020 just plain stunk! lol Hoping your weekend has been a nice one thus far! Hugs, Brenda
