I am so happy to share another freebie from my friend Rachelle from RedCre8s … this little image from Nature works perfectly for my Sparkle-y card! Somehow I just know that my friend won't mind that I combined her sweet drawing with a fave little guy from Ellen Hutson's Julie E. set called Snailed It! His trail of sparkle deserves the spotlight for just a moment:
I even managed to find him a set of sparkly eyes!
Laundry calls, and so does the gallery at The Flower Challenge … I know those little flowering ferns , and garden mushrooms aren't much of a flower, but I'm fine being a rebel ... happy trails, my friends!
Take note: before anyone asks me about this paper!! It is a recycled cover from Strathmore Bristol paper - yeah, I know!!
Great texture from the recycled bristol board cover Michele...x
What a fabulous card. The image is wonderful and all topped off with the adorable snail....Can snails be adorable? This one can....Had a little chuckle about his trail of sparkle!
A fun card and you've absolutely 'snailed it' Michele xx
Oh my gosh do I LOVE LOVE LOVE this card Michele...you definitely "snailed" it! Every little detail on this card is perfect...your coloring, your sparkle, the fern and mushroom, and of course that snail with the sparkly eyes!! Cute, CUTE card my friend!!!!!! Hugs. :0)
You totally have! Jo x
Rebellion is a good thing when it looks this terrific. I love this snail...now that he has sparkly eyes, his personality quotient has gone sky high. I'm sensing a winner.
I laughed out loud when I read this (that really doesn't happen very often). It was the snail trail that did it. A gorgeous card, I love that you stamped it in brown and what great watercolouring and splatters. Just enough sparkle me thinks xx
Flowering mushrooms for sure lol.
Oh my, what a great way to add sparkle to your card, Michele! I love the image, especially the fabulous snail, and your watercoloring is perfect! Love all the texture on your recycled paper, too :)
Looks like a winner to me, my friend!
I think this little fella has a sparkling personality and he knows of the prettiest places to hang out! You're a rebel with a cause!
I love that you are a rebel Michele! And I love that you aren't a sparkle or glitter gal. lol I am in love with this card, it is just adorable! That image is amazing and I went over and grabbed it myself. Not that I will make it look as beautiful as you did though. That little snail is too cute, but I had to laugh at his "glitter/sparkle" trail and eye's! Me thinks you "snailed it"!!!! Have to say your watercoloring is fabulous as well. You rock lady!!! Hugs, Brenda
I love this snail, Michele! His sparkly eyes and trail are such fun and he's a perfect size for this fun mushroom and ferns! The Strathmore covers make fantastic backgrounds. I love the texture!
I'd say you are the one who "snailed" this! It's a fantastic card. Your watercoloring looks wonderful. Such nice earthy colors. It gives the card a lovely organic feel. I'm glad you are proud of who you are and aren't. Makes you, YOU. Way to use up all your supplies, with the watercolor paper. And mushrooms grow like weeds so it's kind of a flower in my book. Haha! Have a good day. :)
Beautiful texures...and such a fab scene.
WOW - How adorable is this? You have done it again with Julie's great image! I love this coloration and the sparkly lichen / snail trail is brilliant! LOVE IT!
Hugs & thanks - Rachelle : )
And that paper was the first thing that I was going to ask you about. Love the texture! I'll have to check out my covers. LOL! Perfect sparkle.
We should all leave a sparkly trail wherever we go! This is adorable....and I love the ferns and mushroom! You definitely snailed it!
That mushroom and fern drawing is incredible and I love your coloring, M! Of course, as a critter lover, I'm all about that snail with his snotty schparkly trail and his awesome eyeballs! Love the punny sediment, too! Thank you for adding schparkle to The Flower Challenge! Darnell GD
Oh my, that little snail with the bright eyes is such a cutie, Michele ... he's had a lovely time wandering around that gorgeous image ... leaving sparkle wherever he goes! Isn't that texture delicious ... fabulous with the organic look of the flowering mushroom! Hugs, Anita :)
It looks like that was the perfect paper for painting your little scene on, Michele. So cute and beautiful at the same time. Thanks for sharing your card with us at The Flower Challenge.

Wow this design is beautiful Michele, love that sweet little snail!
Your sparkly-eye snail looks so natural with the ferns and the mushroom, Michele! Your coloring is wonderful and the very fine spatters go so well with the textured panel. The tiny sparkly trail is as cute as the snail!
Wonderful card Michele and I just love that small touch of sparkle on the mushroom. Beautiful stamp set and design. Thank you so much for joining us at The Flower Challenge and we hope to see you there again soon. Aileen DesignTeam
