It's Summer - and this IB136 inspiration just makes me
want to belt out a Grease song! OH oh those Summer Nights!
Today I was inspired by the colors, and silhouetted images - okay I didn't have any luck finding surf boards, and dudes in my stash. But I think I've made it work - I'll let you be the judge.
Just in case you don't have any silhouettes, here's another way to go...

Today, I Copic colored them in the colors from IB136.

Mama mia, that's a spicy greeting card. I can hear Frankie Valli belting out that song...aaaallll daaaay loooong. The colors in both cards are luscious. You not only made it work, you knocked them out of the park. Fabulous.

What a great inspiration photo for summertime! Love these colors as a background for your tropical flower! Using the colors for the gardenia and background was brilliant. (No pun intended.)
I am humming the theme song by The Sandals... what an absolutely FABULOUS card and a brilliant take on the inspiration. I love the second one too, but the silhouette card is amazing. You have outdone yourself (again!)

PS I just realized I've been commenting on our family email until now...well, I don't know how many Lindsey's you know, but just know the last several comments were all me. :)
Fantastic interpretation of the IB photo, Michele! One of the many things I love about your cards is the variety of style. The first card is completely different from the second card in terms of style but you made them both. Wonderful job, my friend!
