I couldn't take my eyes off of this bed … and I haven't made a Second Helping card in a long time ... hope you are Inspired By me to make a second one, too - or maybe a first?
Though the colors aren't a perfect match to that
beautiful bedding, I still love them. Today, I'm trying to duplicate the layers and angles of the layers.
My Pinkfresh Studio Classic Edger dies came in handy to accentuate the layers, and add a little ruffled effect, too.
So, what do you think? Ready to play along?
You'll find lots of inspiration over at
I better get back to that laundry now...
How fun, Michele, I love your mix of patterned papers and border dies!
You definitely captured the sense of the layers on that gorgeous bed.
So fresh and delightful! My plain old white sheets can't hold a candle to these pretty layers!
Layers of loveliness Michele, a perfect second helping!
ooh so clever.... and design paper too, YAY!
Wow. Looks awesome. I really like how you got all the patterns to play well together. Hope your laundry didn't overtake you! Hugs!
Beautiful edges on your second helping, Michele! Love the bow on the side!
This is so pretty, Michele! Love that combination of papers, angles and edges. Now I am going to have to buy those edger dies... I should really not look at your posts...
Super cute and a clever take on the inspiration photo, Michele.
Thanks for the 'eraser' tip - I'm definitely going to try that out.
Oh, just wanted to add, on my comments page, your comment shows up fine, but the little profile pic of you to the left, is showing blank.
Other people's pics show up, so don't think it's my end.
Hope you don't mind me mentioning it.
Blogger glitches eh??
That bed is beautiful for sure. Love your mix of patterns!
The angles and layering look perfect and what a fabulous take on the photo and that fabulous bed x.
Who cares if the colors aren't exact? The lesson of this card is the ability to use several patterned papers with amazing success (something I can't achiever). Super impressive that you did it and still maintained a soothing card to enjoy.
Gorgeous layers, at that!
Loving your fun take on that bed and a great way to use you papers too! Have a super day!
Ahhh, I am loving the inspiration of the bed layers! Yes, that bed is amazing for sure and I love that it inspired you to make a second helping card. It is beautiful and so layered just like the bed. Gorgeous angles, gorgeous papers! Love it! Hugs, Brenda
There always seems to be another load of laundry to do, huh? : ) This is such a pretty take on the Inspired By theme! As usual, I have been 'eyeing' those Pinkfresh edger dies for awhile now and I may have to move them up on the wish list! You always seem to be influencing my craft purchases! They really add the perfect detail to this special card! Nice one!
Hugs - Rachelle : )
Oh I LOVE the use of the PF edgers on all those fabulous patterns. Such a great way to use your papers!!
Your stack of beautiful linens make me want to snuggle right in! Delightful card!

Those edger dies look like they'd be fun to play with, Michelle. I love the pattern and color mix.
