Inspired By #127 ... colorful kicks

Even though my favorite kicks are just like these [in grey - surprised?] I don't have any of those wonderful sneaker dies, or sets - do you?  But what I did have is an older PTI set that my sweet CTS teamie, Michelle-two Ls, gifted to me last fall when we visited them!  Thanks, my friend Heart & Sole saved my crafty day!

My husband isn't thanked enough for all he has done for my kids... I always try to make him a father's day card, because I appreciate him more than he'll ever know.

A slimline sized card= 4x9"
Inside:
"For Step-Dad-ing up whenever, however, you're needed!"

There's another great sketch over at the Inspired By #127 post - and plenty of inspiration, too!

Love these soles for a Father's Day card, Michele! Looks like a little message on each! You may have had to dig deep, but you had the perfect stamp for this challenge!

OMG! Our kids don't appreciate my darling either...must be a generational thing. It's too far back to remember how I treated my Mom but I do think it was better than this. Anyway, your card should make him feel as special as he should...being the patriarch he is. I love it and glad to see it on this size of card. It's perfect.

This is fabulous!!! Love the outer and inner sentiments so much! I don't have any tennis shoe stamp or dies (at least that I'm aware of) but love this inspiration piece.

I have a fabulous stamp for this challenge, but my craft stuff is far away at the moment. I love this inspiration photo, and I love your card. Being a step=parent is not an easy job. I am sure your husband appreciates his Father's Day cards. This one is fantastic!

I think everyone owns at least one pair of these kicks, don't they?
I have them in red and navy :-)
Love your 'soles' design, and what a brilliant message.
Don't know why it's making me emotional - I seem to have something in my eye!!
